You have seen no shortage, there is more than one world and I assure you before the free play went out there were a lot more players, check the SE forums, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube and even the DCUO Forms you'll see there is a boat load of people who can't pay their subs who are complaining and rather you see a shortage or not does not change the fact that the payment system is broken, its not working and the few people who were able to get in had to do too much complicated stuff just so they could pay to play the game and they're not even trying to fix it, the majority of the people who wanted to play this game but can't have either reluctantly gone back to DCUO, went and got GTA 5 or AC Black Flag.

And of course they aren't actually playing the game now they can't get in.

I still think you are are exaggerating and doubt that the "majority of people are having trouble cause there 1.5 million registered users and to be the majority least 60% or 900,000 people would have to not be able to pay subscription. Even 60% of that would be over 500k people. As for me no I do not know how broken it as it has worked fine for me nor have heard any complaints about it from the FC I'm which is the largest and most active FC on Balmung server with 417 members. Not saying that there no problem just don't believe that is the majority of people.
