I'll say it again. This isn't FFXI.
FFXI was:
S
L
O
W
This is, a little slow.
FFXI is how old? I started playing FFXI back in 2003 and quit in 2006, then immediately went to WoW. Yeah WoW, that one game with a 1.5 second gcd.

I still don't see how the age of a game is somehow of an indicator as to how fast it should move. Could you try explaining that. WoW is simply a different MMO with different mechanics so I am not sure how that is at all relevant to the discussion.
I never said age was an indicator, you did. All I said was FFXI was extremely slow. WoW has the exact same mechanics as this game. Threat, tank, healing, melee dps, ranged dps, caster dps with procs, it's all the same.
Maybe you should just see yourself out of the thread because you're making yourself look bad.
Where did I say age was an indicator? You'll have to quote me because looking back through my comments, I am not seeing it. I do see where you mention the age of FFXI as if it is somehow relevant quoted below.
And while FFXIV does have some some similar mechanics to WoW, that does not in any way mean there is a requirement that any of the similar mechanics be exactly the same, faster or slower.
I also qualified my comment of "similar mechanics" with "some". If you are going to attempt to trap me in a comment, please make sure you are correct before doing so, for your own benefit. While this particular mechanic does exist in both, you have given no substantial reason as to why it needs to be changed. Instead of trying to bicker with forum posters, why not write out a well thought out argument as to why it needs to be changed? Currently it seems as though you are simply reacting to a feeling without understanding why you feel the way you do. It seems very over-reactionary which is never a good standing in which to make change.
An argument with the shallow depth of simply, "too slow" is not one you seriously expect developers to base a change, is it?
