Portable retainer bell

Could we please get a retainer summon option or device. I would even be happy with one placed on a pillar or some type of object. I have yet to have a single day or night when I have gone to the market place in any city and not had people standing over the bell, crafting on top of the bell or some kind of clown car on top of the bell. Also being able to deposit items or withdraw items in the field would help with crafting leve crafts.

I know people think it is so cool to cluster on the bell just like how they did in wow with mounts on quest givers and npcs. we can not change how some people act so could we have a better option put in place for the normal player.

They've talked about adding more retainer bells in other locations. Hopefully that will help some.

Pro Tip: If you're facing the retainer bell, press 0 on your number pad. The default command for that key is to select the nearest NPC. Press 0 again to open that NPC. It's really helpful when inconsiderate people are standing right on top of the retainer bell/delivery moogle/quest NPC.

They talked about adding more bells ages ago and then it disappeared into the ether.

i wouldn't mind seeing access to the market boards in room inns when calling your retainer(s)

yeah no that would be a little too convenient. May as well add a menu in the inn room to talk to any NPC in the game.

If you're having trouble clicking on the bell hold 'x' (unless you rebound the key) it will make players unselectable and you can still click on the bell, this also works if you're at a hand in fate and there are a lot of people around the npc.
