Yes, please do work on this Square. I would really like to change my character's last name to something smaller...I had no clue how it would look on screen, its too big and I'm a Lala. Count me in!

All for name changes. Very easy ways to prevent people abusing it:

Give it a cool down.
Show a list of all previous names in a person's profile.
Tie blacklist to player ID.

Make it a paid service if they have to, but do make it.

I support this thread 110% to give fantasia potions and not be able to change your name is just bizarre!.

I support and need this so bad. I keep thinking about using my fantasia to change a char from female -> male, but the name is just inappropriate for a male character. I obviously didn't think it through hard enough when I made the char, and now that it's level 50 and doing coil... I would appreciate it if I can have this option.
