Sooo about that new event!

For this Lightning event.. Since i'm only level 32 does that mean I can't do the ones near the end? Even though all the gear is level 13? :s.. I'm really confused by this. I'm guessing all of these are fate quests or something, but they also may not be.

Anyone know if i'm just crazy here? Or if i'm actually not allowed to do the rest of the event because i'm low leveled.. Which really sucks.

The chapters have level requirements... so I think you may not be able to complete the later chapters. However, according to the event page, the LR Event will run again on February once the game gets released on US/EU region.

You're in the same boat as me. We can get all the weapons, as those come from the FATEs used for the initial (level 12) quest. And you'll be able to get the gloves (level 12 quest reward) and whatever the second piece of the outfit is for the level 26 quest reward. Getting the full outfit would require level 45, though. It's a really stupid requirement for a promo event's level 13 gear.

For those people who cant get to level 45 in this even until dec 9. there is still hope. February is the release date of the Lighting Return on US/EU. For my understanding FFXIV has been out for awhile now and most of the player already have reach or already in the process of finishing the story quest and at level 50. For those players that havent reach the required level cause you either busy and no time to play the game, this is not FFXIV fault. You still get another chance on Feb if you cant make it to level 45 by that then you shouldn't be playing cause your just wasting your money.

If the actual quests don't have the posted level requirements you can get the armor. I imagine the levels they provided are going to be the levels of the FATEs involved where Lightning will show up but the quests are what actually award the armor. I think you get the otherworldy packages for the weapons just by showing up at the FATEs and getting gold? (personally haven't tried doing it more than once)

Thanks for the replies for that guys! Sadly I didn't see that it begins again on Feb which is great news for me! I guess we'll just have to see!
