Issue with installer. Please help!

Hello! I'm at my wits end now haha~

After destroying all my firewalls and anti viruses, updating all my drivers and even force running it as a system with cmd this game still refuses to install on my husband's laptop.

After pulling my hair out for a day I decided to completely reformat the computer. Turned it on only installed the drivers needed to play the game and still no go.

I get this weird error that when I look it up on google only talks about computer server problems. As far as I know my husbands laptop isn't a part of a server.

Pulling all my files and transferring it to his laptop only brings up an error that says "Cannot find data files".

We already paid for the game so as the days go by more money is wasted and I'm so frustrated I could cry.

Please. Someone help us.

From what I read it means that it doesn't have permissions to do what it is trying to do.
And if you tried running as admin, that's even more weird.
Did you install Vista from the recovery partition of the laptop? Is it possible it's restricting something?

The funny thing is that the laptop doesn't have Vista on it. It's windows 7 home premium. We tried turning off the UAC as well.
