SLI not using %100, %50 on second card ?? what the heck..

    Anyone having this problem ?
Anyone getting %100 or even %90 on both cards as it SHOULD be.

I didn't have this problem a month ago, as i moved and didn't have time to play.
Just got back on, updated Nvidia drivers, still having the problem.

Second card could be toast and throttling because of it, not sure.

I'm using Afterburner with "on screen display" server ( old rivatuner )
in settings to see this in game. I'm also using fraps and im' getting way lower FPS than i should be getting

    2x gtx 670's 4gb @2560x1440
    -SLI enabled -Updated Drivers etc..

    here's the picture..

    Any feedback is much appreciated.

Well, Honestly without proper dx11 and proper sli support, it still would not matter much. Does it only do this in ff14 or in other games as well? If it runs fine in other games then the issue is with FF14.

I run a GTX 660 SLI setup and never see over 75% utilization on each GPU. My CPU usage hovers around 80% or more for one core and about 50-60% for the remaining three. I have an i5-3570K @ 4.2GHz. It seems pretty much par for the course that you will see GPU usage discrepancies FFXI using SLI rendering. Many games exhibit this same behavior.

Geforce 690 setup here, fairly similar setup to yours minus that both GPU's are on a single PCB and that I'm running a Dell 30" 2560x1600 display.

Anyway... Generally I get perfectly uniform scaling between both GPU's of the 690, yet I've a hunch of what's happening. My apologies if you've already checked this and or if it sounds obvious.

--Is there any chance that you for some reason switched to fullscreen-windowed mode in order to show applications ontop of the game Window while playing? If you have, that's the problem.

(I get basically identical load to what you've shown if I pick any Windowed mode selection)

SLI scaling in windowed-mode is terrible compared to true-fullscreen (not just in FFXIV -- in all games), and can / does cause exactly what you're seeing [30-50% usage of the second GPU (while said second GPU is running at reduced clocks), with 100% of the primary in use].
