Not earning experience and very high enmity.

Me and Brother are playing but he is not earning experience from monsters. He does get experience from quests and for the hunting log. Also he has very high enmity. One attack can attract up to 5 monsters. He is only Lv 20. Please help. Making it very hard to enjoy the game.

I can't say for the lack of exp, but being in parties causes otherwise solo mobs to link when you attack one of them (the same goes for being a certain amount of levels above them too).

Bear in mind that you only receive experience from kills if you or someone in your party is the first to deal damage to the mob.

When it comes to enemies if your solo you need to either get first hit or do 30% damage before the enemies dies same for if you are in a group but either you or one of the 7 others with you need to do the above in fates, while building aggro gets you gold it does not get you exp per kill flash or medica spamming in fates only gets you a gold reward you still have to either get first hit or deal 30% damage before enemie dies.

Yeah after alot of trial and error worked out it was because I was alot higher level than my Brother. Swapped out to a lower level class and everything was fine. Thanks!
