I main healer and pld tank up to turn 5 with a controller, and I would upload a video if there is enough demand for it. (My crossbar setup is on page 3)
But what turn and what job are most people interested in? (Haven't beat turn 5 yet)

Refreshing to see a bit of objectivity in the forums for a change. Kudos to you, sir.I use a gamepad, I have in every MMO I've played that offers gamepad support since FFXI. I say this so you can't argue that I'm blindly hating gamepads. Keyboard and mouse is just more effective for healing than a gamepad. When you have you change target between 8 party members on a second by second basis, gamepad is just slower than a mouse. I'm not trying to say that gamepad can't work just fine as the game was designed with it in mind, but it's still slower to switch targets than a mouse. I love it as a DD. You can probably do longer rotations, such as Dragoon, with less effort than with a keyboard as all your actions are compacted to a few button combinations, but DD aren't constantly switching targets. As a tank, you only really switch targets when you are fighting three or four monsters and the R2+R1/L1 target switching is very handy in that situation.
Obviously, you are japanese I guess? however could you tell me, how you switch so quickly using the gamepad when healing? Is there a specific filter setting I missed for that?here my video on Coil Of Bahamut using only Gamepad (white mage)

(I don't know how to answer that question.)
Yes I knew that, considering I am playing on a ps3. I guess I was not completely clear, I meant between friendly players. I noticed he was switching in the party between players while skipping several names. When I try to select others in the party with a gamepad, I have to manually move over each party member till ir each the one I wanted.
The target isn't jumping past party members. Just watch the light beside the job icon, he is still going through targets he doesn't want using up and down. It's just being done fast (from watching the first video anyway)Yes I knew that, considering I am playing on a ps3. I guess I was not completely clear, I meant between friendly players. ohhhh Quick question!. How you can add those two extra bars with the controller down? I need to know! Please and Thanks.
I don't think you can on PS3, but I also have an extra bar on my setup (PC using a controller).
Just go into your HUD layout, select the bar you want, and hit Y, or Triangle. (Or right-click) to show/hide. Once it's shown, you can put abilities on it. I use that for things like my sword/shield oath and other abilities I'm not actively using.

Thanks. Yeah very useful for those thins we dont use much or abilities with really long cooldowns.
Not necessarily.
Character Settings -> Hotbar Settings -> Cross -> Set Selection. Check enable customization (including when weapon is drawn) and check only hotbars 1 and 2, then you can put skills on more bars without it toggling past the second.
I use the third hotbar for things like Summons, buffs and stances. It'll only enable if I press R1 + X.
