Attribute bonus for current job reset

So I was just running around, not doing much really, and I received that exact message in my chat log. I noticed that some of my stats dropped, but I don't have any attribute points to distribute. I can't really find an answer to why.

I've read possibly food plays a factor. Also read that maybe something to do with my GC. I was recently wearing a few pieces of GC gear that gave bonuses, but changed them out for better gear over the last few days. Maybe there was a latent effect that had a timer after having removed the gear. Really not sure. It's not a huge change really, but I am curious.

Don't worry, you haven't lost your 30 bonus points from leveling and your gear isn't getting worse. Just cook (or buy) something to nom.

gotcha. i thought that might be it. i just honestly couldnt remember the last types of food I had eaten, and I had not eaten any food today so I was unsure when I saw the message.

The "attribute bonus for current job reset" message is what shows when you use a Keeper's Hymn (bought at the Grand Company) to reset your stats. Currently, though, it gives you that message when anyone near you uses the item. So you're just getting messages from other people resetting their stats.
