You may want to forgive me, as English is not my mother language. >_<
SE should just turn any future potential FATE event into a Guildhest or something (it'll give us a reason to use them more often, at least).
Were you not here when there was that rush to the DF when the game launched? Do you REALLY think the moderately increased number of DF servers can handle the same level of player rush spamming them? And besides, that requires queuing... meaning you need specific roles to be filled. Not really the most ideal of situations for most people to do a limited time event with currently.GOD ALMIGHTY I don't get upset easily but WHY this couldn't be instanced is beyond me.
I swear it got worse with chapter 2. And it ends way to quickly.
Doesn't have that "feel" that SE is pushing onto us with this event when it's like this.
I just hope it'll get better come February.
And to those people who are complaining about a need to be a certain level to do this event, just sit down from your high horse. This is an MMORPG. The only thing that needs to be understood by EVERYONE, is that they are not for everyone. It might be fun to dabble in it, just like anything else, but to really get the full experience, you need to have the time. "I only have two hours to play"... ok, that's fine. If you choose to play, then please do... just know you ARE limited to what you can and cannot do. Be it limitations to the system or just the fact that things will take longer to do. You can still do a majority of things, just at a slower rate. There just may be times that you can't participate in something because of your limitation.
Oh and one more thing to those folks. It's funny to see that a lot of them are already level 50, and seem to be speaking for other people who may or may not exist. You know what term actually deserves to be used there? "White knight". Good lord, that might be the first time it was properly used on these forums! Humorously, they seem to be speaking up for people who aren't even complaining too. This also applies to alt-o-holics. It's pretty sad if you choose to complain, but don't even remotely understand how time consuming it is to properly be one of us.
I'd take queue times over facerolling to victory in twenty-thirty seconds :/
Besides, unless you're running from one FATE to the other, you're going to be sitting around waiting for the FATE to pop anyway (and if you didn't know the location for it, chances are the FATE will be finished by the time you run from Highbridge to where the FATE spawns). That's almost exactly the same as waiting for DF to pop. Perhaps even worse.

The heck are you going on about? I'm speaking for myself. So what if I have a main who is level 50? So what if I enjoy having a plethora of alts? Your paragraph makes zero sense.Oh and one more thing to those folks. It's funny to see that a lot of them are already level 50, and seem to be speaking for other people who may or may not exist. I understand the "situation" perfectly well, thank you; that's why I'm pushing for a change in how the event is handled. Your snide condescension is entirely unnecessary.

It's that you're complaining, but you don't even understand the situation you intentionally chose to be in. Probably why that alt reference made zero sense to you.
Forgive me for asking, but what is the point in making a popular, almost-seasonal event into FATEs which are currently being adjusted since players can't even target the mobs? Especially a choice of 2 FATEs (the Bombard event wasn't too bad since there were way more areas in which you could participate). Fix the system, then think about pouring people in.
As it stands, the game should load mobs before players regardless (it worked this way in XI, why not here?)
Is it possible to get both outfits? I would like to switch my character down the road hopefully if fantasias are available but would like both costumes just in case.

I think you got it wrong here.I am under the impression that these Lightning quests are only available at 12 am PST. If I'm wrong please let me know! But if I'm not then I have a small complaint. 12 am PST is cool for all the folks in that timezone but that is 3 am EST. I tried to stay up but I got as far 1:30 am and just passed out. I am a big fan of Lightning I have the games and plan to get the Lightning Returns game as well. I would really like to get a chance at these quests, is there anyway that you guys can reconsider on the time for this event in February? Make it a little bit more EST friendly? PLEASE?! I know I can't be the only one, who would love it if you guys would think about us EST folks on the next Lightning Event.
Event start after 12pst and last until Dec 4th.
You can start the quest anytime and just need to wait for the fate to pop
I just realized that when I was online. Duhhh! I should of checked the first location before I wrote that. Oh well, brain farts happen sometimes. LOL!![]()
