Very funny. Ever had a real life job?

Back to my statement. I think events like this should be available to all levels, even lower levels. I think that some of the content only being available to high levels is a poor decision in design. Not everyone has the time nor patience to level another character to the required level. In my case I'd like to have both the male and female versions coming from this event. But due to real life time constraints I'm restricted to only being able to get them on my two highest toons; which are both male. (And I have no fantasia.)

Right, I'll get right on leveling 5 other characters to 45. We'll just forget the whole idea of having those characters to level whenever I don't feel like playing my main, so leveling them all up in one go would kind of defeat the purpose of their existence...

It's ridiculous to lock the outfit behind level walls. And almost as ridiculous is the way the outfits are gender locked.

It's not SEs fault that some of you decided to play 13 different characters instead of focusing on one.

It's also ridiculous that anyone should have to work for a reward. I understand a little more the people who don't have a char to 50 who wont be able to finish all the chapters, but again, if you haven't put the time in like some other people, then no, you should not just be handed the rewards, I have a job, family, etc. and prioritize my own life. If you put other things above the game (please say you do) then you made that choice and should not be whining when you don't get the same stuff other ppl are who put in the time and effort on this particular venture.

That aside, its different to be whining that "oh, I can do it on my main but not all the way through on my other chars." I choose to make alts as well, like having alts, but if they are not the right level for certain content then they just are not going to be able to participate. Its not like there will never be any more events that they will be able to participate in.

This is a fun promo event, not some crazy serious raid. You need to chill out about the "work hard, earn your reward!" crap. The gear is for level 13. Why shouldn't a level 13 be able to obtain all the gear, hmm?

Choose what you want to have with the time you have and then find a way; make a way.

if you were a 1.0 player, you should have two bottles of fantasia per character. if you have already used them, it appears that you did not prepare for this eventuality. not everyone can have everything they want.


However, since you want outfits for your toons, i suggest that you simply draw your cartoons in whatever outfit you wish. I am not sure why this is a problem unless you are tracing your cartoons form the display, in which case, i would suggest that you create a new character as the race and gender of your choosing and then work to get them to the appropriate level for the FATEs. My wife and i were both able to get our arcanists to 50 in one month's time while working full time jobs and overtime.

Really, dude. This is a game, and even more than that, this is a silly promo event that can be done with 4 people (probably less, but that's what SE claims they tuned the fates around) and is about as simple as that first marauder quest where you punch a rock once to destroy it. This is not some crazy serious piece of special end game. Completing the level 45 fate to-be isn't something you're going to be writing home to your mom about; it's not an achievement worthy of restricting level 13 items from low level players. The items are level 13, so characters who are level 13 should be able to get them. It's really that simple. Hopefully Squee realizes this (they have a tendency to not realize really simple things) and changes it for the February event to allow the outfits to be purchased via the tokens.

This has nothing to do with my missing hat. If SE really took out the hat/wig just to implement them as a hairstyle then there's something wrong going on here. Part of the costume is missing.

It has everything to do with your missing hat/wig. The barber shop releases in 2.1; completing the quest unlocks the two hairstyles pictured for the barber shop.

FATE difficulty
As we go through each phase, we’ll be having some high level FATEs; however, we’ve balanced them so they can be cleared with only four people, so don’t worry if the amount of participants decrease as the event is wrapping up.

Maybe you should balance them so they can be cleared with a few hundred people, so that the event isn't so trivial.

People can do more characters, because SE know that people want something like this. But you get rewarded if you play only 1 character with a cheaper monthly fee.

And that was originally the case. There's a difference between punishing you for having more than one character (as XI did) and *encouraging* more than one character. The game was designed so that you could experience literally everything other than the first couple story quests (which are mostly just a tutorial anyway) with a single character.

As far as your complaint, there's nothing stopping you from getting the items on all of your CHARACTERS. (People have gotten level 50s in a matter of days before anyway, so it's not like it's not possible). If you can't do it, well, it's your fault for creating too many characters and not having enough time to play them all.

This game is not a cartoon, therefore they are characters, avatars, personas, etc. but they're not "toons."
