I think this game needs more open world content..it would help a lot! Also...since the devs took so many things from other MMO...why won't they take some good things from their own previous game, FFXI? Things like sky and sea..where you have a group of friends and you farm pop items and pop NM/HNM together...or things we even had in 1.0, NM that spawn at night/day or certain times like that goat NM!
I'm not saying bring back the HNM...that stuff was too ridiculous imho lol but give us something challenging and difficult to do with our FC in the open world! >.< and before anyone says it..yeah I know the primal stuff is coming, but we need something more then just that heh.

ok lets make game harder so you die when you leave town ... now you see all those posts about how hard titan is ? times that by 100,000+ yep you get what im getting at ?

Except titan isn't hard. Titan is broken
And the thread with 680 likes, kind of demonstrates that: http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...-fix-something.

Alot People complained about the way XIV:ARR was going and alot quittet with the end of the beta tests already. Yoshi isnt listening to the Community or atleast not to the ones who would love to see more aspects from XI instead of WoW.
Alot XI Players where looking for a new "home" when abyssea in XI came out. If XI would have failed there maybe wouldnt be new FF MMORPG, they treat the old XI community like trash, but we not asking for a XI copy at all, all we want is Open World Feeling and Exploration, doing Endgame with the whole LS/FC and not just with 8 People once a week, old and big XI linkshell they came from XI to XIV:ARR dissolved already and i think everyone knows why.

Well you know what they say - if the magic is gone you should probably move on.
Having an opinion does not make you right or wrong, it simply means you have an opinion. Don't get irritated when people don't agree.

Azurymber thread disliking FFXIV's direction.
This is new and unique.
Sorry, but reputation precedes certain individuals, including myself, who are consistent with trends. It's hard to take seriously that a magic is lost in the game when it never really charmed the one posting it.
As far as FFXIV losing it's magic. No, is hasn't done so for me. I knew well enough to not dive headfirst into a new MMO's endgame scene. I knew to pace myself as I progressed, I knew to embrace player generated content.
If it does lose it's magic for me, I won't be making a thread about it crying on the soapbox. I'll leave, quietly, and play games that entertain me.

Quit a few people arguing about time sink not being challenging, just tedious. It is true some activities in FF11 were a boring time sink with minimal challenge but tell me how you felt when you finally equipped your Rajas ring?
