    Candy in the bag then seconds later onto the next house for more candy ;;. In FFXIV terms it would be get Ifrit weapon then get Garuda weapon. Gear progression is so fast that it's hard to even enjoy the Ifrits weapon. Crafting/Lvling gear isn't much better. You don't even need to upgrade leveling gear often if you're just going to zerg fates and crafting gear gets replaced like every 3 levels (extremely fast with repeatables) Gearing just isn't satisfying. Now everyone is just walking around with full dl and relic that it just feels like the norm.

    I agree gear progression in this game is poorly done, it would be nice if players could have some enjoyment with their primal weapons like in 1.0 but nope... relics are so easy to attain that its mandatory to have for each job now and more or less a requirement for parties. Plus going from 1 to 50 you barely have to gear up at all considering fates are so easy x.x and grindable.

    I honestly don't see the beef here. Some no-lifers apparently thought this was your typical 24/7 MMO and burned through everything in a week...for what? To brag to anyone who gave a rat's behind? Now they're complaining about nothing to do (which more than likely translates to "needing more 24/7 raiding for gear the commoners can't get unless they kissed the behinds of our FC officers").

    The clamor for elements of XI could be understandable if it were more realistic and grounded in awareness that XI itself had to change over its 11 years in order to survive this long. SE couldn't sell a "Chains of Promathia"-type expansion in 2013. There's no way in the world people would buy into fights that almost REQUIRED specific jobs to get past level-capped fights like Mammets, Promyvion, Ouryu, and the Airship fights. Sky had to change, Sea had to change, Dynamis had to change, Salvage had to change, Nyzul had to change. Any and all aspects of XI had to change to meet the players' desire for honest rewards for honest work, which meant drop rates had to be raised to realistic percentages (as was the case in Dynamis some years ago), NM fights had to be scaled back in difficulty to allow more diversity in parties, and some gimmicks had to be removed altogether (level-capped areas in CoP).

Everything in this game is pretty damn easy, a game should challenge a players mind, not bore players to death. Current MMO's are DOA or go f2p due to everything being easy mob zerg fest. Currently we have a game that is top heavy and no content to fix this issue. Everyone has time, some more than other that dosent mean that everyone cant do all the content, only those players that choose not to do the content. If this game had more challenge we wouldnt see so many threads like this. Everyone needs to remember this is a MMO a long term game, but what did the new players do they rushed to level cap and unfortunatly Yoshi made the mistake in designing the game like that. There is no way Yoshi and the dev's can provide a crap load of content because of how he designed the current game, players will consume it before he can release new content. Ultimately it comes down to the players to decide in the end if this game stays or fades away, but at the rate content has been consumed Ill bet more on fade away. I am from 1.0 and I had most everything done, Yoshi released a game that has very little endgame for the 1.0 players he dropped the ball on that, even though he new he had 1.0 players ready for endgame. Myself and others are still here because we have some hope left that things will get better.
