    Why is SE powerleveling everyone through this game?

    In the past they made a gathering class have more xp to match the other ones. Now there gona be making dungeons match the xp you get from fates.

    It seems like to me no matter what you do in this game, they are making it power level you through all the levels, weather its crafting, gathering, running dungeons, or fates.

    Seems like there making it where you can't avoid being power leveled through this.

    My playstyle has been like this, I do battle leve's, while waiting on the DF. I sometimes do fates if there in the same area as me, but I wont go outa my way to get to um.

    I like the pace of leveling through dungeons, feels right to me. I don't wanna get to cap extremely quick and feel like I hit a brick wall again and hafta figure out what to do next.

    I really enjoy the journey through this game, I just wish it wasn't so short with all the power leveling there doing to everyone

    Right now you have 8 different battle classes you can take to 50, if you have read much about the plan for this game since Yoshida took over, it was that the beginning and middle levels would be to get people used to the syle of the game, the world, the systems, and that the endgame would be where it would slow down, one main reason being is that that is where the new content is going to land. In the future when they add new areas, dungeons, stuff like that, it will most of the time be geared toward the end game, unless you know new classes, I am sure they will toss in a little mid level content. Or think about someone new starting in a year, not many people will be in the low level areas, this system helps them get through it quickly to where they can play with their friends that have been playing for a while. If you want to slow down your leveling do so, that is your choice, don't join fate parties, if dungeon exp is too high for you, then don't spam duty finder, all this is doing is taking the same pace that exists, but gives people another option, one that will force them into smaller parties with defined roles, making them learn how to play their class, instead of just spamming aoes for claim, this is something people have been asking for, so more people are better on their jobs when they reach max level. If nothing else, it shows that in some cases the dev team pays atteintion to what the people are saying.

    Honestly I'm very happy with the rate of progression. This is the first MMO that's allowed me to each end-game in what I consider a reasonable amount of time, it's also the first MMO I've intended to keep playing after the first couple of months.

    Things do slow down a lot once you reach endgame, but you have reached endgame by that point.

    Personally, I think they should have nerfed the xp from fates... but imagine the outcry if they did that. Upping dungeon xp is a good idea as they want to avoid the shitstorm that would occur if they went the other route.

    Like you said, i think exp from dungeon is fine, they should lower, A LOT, the exp from FATEs. Lower it by 50% exp or maybe more.

    FATE's should be a side thing to do.
    GW2 did it right.
    They didn't abuse it, then again, GW2 has a massive game. Like the first area I was at was huge. Queens...something. I was human lol.
    It was fun doing DE's, when they popped out. We didn't go around purposely trying to find DE's to do. It was mostly just something fun
    to do when you were running around doing things. This games world is very small so it's easy to go from map to map zerging FATE's
    while it yields a large amount of EXP...
    Then again, DE's were the only fun thing that game had, and it's storyline we could of weaved of our own.

    I don't think nerfing FATEs would be the answer. Increasing the reward in dungeons, on the other hand, would be very welcome. This way you give options. Don't like fates? Go run dungeons! Don't like dungeons and prefer the zerg-style? FATEs all the way!

    This happens with every MMO ever, including really grindy ones like XI. I really don't understand why you think this is a big deal. They will make new content harder while old content gets easier.

    I don't know why people would want to level slower... But anyway, while its good to increase dungeon XP, they should also add company seals to them too. While now there isn't really a need for company seals, in the future there may be and it would suck to go back to fate farming to get them.
