Playing the game from Sweden to Canada Datacenter - Latency Problems

The game has started very strong now and it seems that it is earning money and getting more subscriptions.

There are more than 200 000 players on the EU (European) servers that suffer from the long distance to the servers located in Montreal, Canada. Checking our latency on a daily basis we can see it fluctuate greatly traversing the Atlantic Ocean during peaktimes.

A large community of European Players wish for a new datacenter for FFXIV to be created at a big network node in the European Union. Maybe London or Paris?

Please do not continue to ignore our pleas and wishes. We wish to continue playing but some days the transatlantic latency kills the game experience for us.

We realize it is a cost. But if you, Square Enix, grants us this wish, many of the dedicated players will stay subscribed for much longer instead of cursing the game every time latency kills us.

Good quality of service will win you lifetime subscribers in Europe. Do not hesitate to increase your quality since this will create a stronger bond to the players and also enhance the mutual loyalty.

    Thank you for listening.
