I suppose I didn't expect a HUGE thing seeing as SE isn't exactly known for its grand seasonal events and what not, but this..is a rather disapointing turn of events.

Step 1: Go do fates that already exist.
Step 2: Done.

Blah, was Lightning even there? Everyone on my server was at that ONE spot, so yeah. Oh well. I fear the next 3 steps are going to be the same, go do the same fates allready in game but in different zones, and here's an obligatory piece of armor you can't store in your armoire.

I did a few FATEs in 3-malm bend and got golds but not receiving quest credit.

Which FATE are we supposed to complete?

Yes, the Events in this game are really disapointing. SE should be condamned to play Guild Wars 2 to see how Events SHOULD LOOK. Own Quests, many of them with unique new bosses, fully voiced, and many fun loot that's worth it.

And FFXIV? Go and spend your gil for teleporting to each city, speak to a NPC and get a useless costue you can't even store away in the armoire.
That's pretty lame SE. Pretty lame.

This is one case where I'd rather they just Moogle'd me all the gear.

I was already facepalming myself at doing a level 12 FATE with almost one hundred level 50s, not getting credit for it was the final straw.

There is 4 chapters to the lightning crossover and this is only the first, things probably heat up in the rest of the chapters.

Your optimism is nice, Zumi. Though given this I suddenly fear and predict that for the next steps we'll be doing fates that already exist in.....different zones. MAYBE the last step will have something unique other than -SUPPOSEDLY- spawning lightning in during normal fates.
