Help with the level 15 gld quest.

So i'm not sure where i'm going wrong and i've searched on the forums and google for everything i can think of.

my level 15 glad quest wont start once it gets to the part where i need to help the guy next to the over turned cart, when i click him nothing happens, is it a bug?, is there away around it?, am i never going to get shield toss?.

yeah i found that but my quest doesn't work the same way, the npc just looks at the floor and no battle begins, so i guess it's bugged and there's no way for me to become a paladin?.

I'd try dropping the quest and restarting it. Might fix it.
