Question on medica and succor

So medica has a potency of 250 and have seen it heal for over 600.

Succor has a potency of 300 but heals on average of 200 less than medica. The description says it gives a shield based on health gained from the heal.

Is the succor description misleading and half the potency given to the shield? I'm confused. The spell descriptions in this game are hardly ever right I've noticed.

Oh and to just say this isn't a buff request it's only an inquiry as to why something is. The descriptions for spells are not clear

The potency in the spell description is just part of the healing algorithm (that I would not be able to iterate for you). To give you an example, my healing magic potency (Solo) as SCH is 412. Adloquium potency is 300. I cure for roughly 610hp. Succor's potency is 150 with the same solo healing potency, and heals almost exactly 300hp. Half spell potency, half the result. I would imagine Medica with my healing potency would land roughly around 500.

The description is right, you just confused Succor and Adloquium.

Nope look at the wiki (at least using the ign app link to the wiki) succor potency says 300.

On my iPhone the IGN app wiki has it at 300.

And someone might have already fixed it too. Just when I posted this the potency was at 300 on there as well as had sacred soil with a heal potency of 300. It doesn't heal. And it gives the same info on my iPad as of right now so it needs to be fixed.
