New to 50 Tips...

A quick few tips for those who just hit or are about to hit 50 and are new to ffxiv arr. (Information was learned the hard way or given to me on the forums by our great healer community)

1. Promote yourself through the ranks of your Grand Company until you Reach LT. So you can buy gear at 50.

2. Do not sell items that are at 100% spiritbond, you can turn these into Materia.

3. Choose the Gil option of quests as much of possible and save money you will need it for your relic quest later.

4. You must level a crafting class (non gathering) to 19 so you can change spiritbond items into materia AND put materia in gear (will also need for relic quest)

5. For the love of god the sooner you get swiftcast for fast rez's the better.

6.You must finish your story quest to really progress end game and unlock your relic weapon so do that first thing.

7. Once at 50 you will need to cap Tomes of Mythology which has a weekly cap of 300 (think valor for you wow kids through dungeons
