    Issues with IP's in the same city

    So i got my internet cut off and the building im in has awefull free wifi, Logged in and bam said my account was comprimised. But it is not! lol
    Is this due to me logging in from a new IP? the email was sent to me informing me to change my pass so i did so but i am slightly confused i was in panic like oh shXt!

    Yes, if your IP is not the one you usually log into, it automatically locks down your account and forces you to change your password.

    I Log in from 2 IP addresses every week. MY hubby does the same. And he got locked out I never have.
    I have authenticater he doesn't

    Commendations.
    If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
    If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
    If I play healer I only give it out to tank.

    Only if they should be getting a commendation.
    There are always exceptions to the rules!

    Whelp, since Kewitt only suggested it in passing..

    Yes, get an authenticator. Either buy an official keyfob or download the Android/iPhone app (which is free).

    The 'account compromised because IP changed' thing is a v1.x feature they removed for v2.0 .. and then re-added because it was bloody effective. It might be annoying but with the rash of hackings it was a good first move.
