    Maybe it will work it's way into duty finder, right now each turn is it's own instance, as time goes on, they could put it in a turn at a time. Now the first parts are able to be done without too much trouble in a pick up group, but people have better gear now than they did even just a month ago, when tossing 8 random people and jobs in there wouldn't have ended well. I would be fine as more of it opens up, they bring the lockout to maybe every 3 days, and put the older turns in the duty finder, but the hardest of the new content I think should be left out for a bit. This would work for their idea of catering to both hardcore and casual players, if you want the best as soon as it comes out, get a group, and grind deaths til you figure it out, if you want to get it at your own pace, wait for the hardcore folks to grind it out, then do it in duty finder later. Everyone still has access to the gear, just the people that put in the time got it first.

    If you are the main tank, coil 1 don't need that much experience, and coil 2 is a bit harder, but won't be too bad

    coil 4, it seems there are a few strategy people use, so you just pretend you "want to make sure" that the strategy is the same as what they plan

    I don't really see why they don't have it in duty finder. Groups don't want people that don't have experience, but people can't get experience because they can't get in a group. If people want to go ahead and give Coil a shot through Duty Finder, and end up failing 90% like trying to get through a wall by using their head to knock a hole through it, then let them. They pay the same $15 a month as coil running FC's do.

    However, in return, anyone that does pug coil should lose the ability to whine about how hard it is.

    Im in a similar situation as the OP. Work 12 hour swing shift and the days change every week. Static just isnt possible. A few weeks ago getting a pug was easy. The shouts were like "new/inexperienced welcome for coil turn 1". Now just a few weeks later and it has become " must be experienced clearing t1-4". I was able to clear turn 1 and get to last boss of t2 with an inexperienced pug with no voice chat.

    Dont see why they cant add it to df and just have to choose which turn you want to start on so you dont get grouped with someone on turn 4 when you wanted t1. As it is right now the majority of this games playerbase is locked out of continuing the games main story in coil. Of course thats exactly how the elitist want it. Lock out as many casuals as possible so they can feel superior.

    I'd hope they'd have gear checks in coil at that point to take out the gear issues but seriously, the DF would add a bigger barrier to doing coil than whatever issues you have in joining pugs or statics. It is not DF-able content in both a literal and practical sense.

    I really don't care what casuals do or whatever binary we are sorting players into I'm giving serious advice. There will be threads begging for a nerf of ADS mechanics very fast.

    Really there is no good reason to keep coil off of the duty finder. However, it would be largely useless without the ilvl system they're adding in 2.1. Perhaps in 2.1 coil will be available in the duty finder but I doubt it.

    Assuming the DF doesn't bypass the requirement to get into Coil normally, whoever can queue for Coil in a DF would likely have their relic already. That's likely better than doing Titan with basically zero guaranteed on gear.

    I don't get why people try to speculate if something might be 'too hard'. Most of this stuff isn't actually that hard, and if Coil turns out to be impossible in DF, it is not your problem anyway. Without a DF, there will be significantly people even attempting the content, and it's even more impossible to beat anything when you can't even attempt the content to start with. At worst it'd be something like Cape Westwind that nobody goes to, but it doesn't take away from anything. If Cape Westwind cannot be done in Duty Finder, it certainly doesn't add anything to the game. Just because almost no one does Cape Westwind more than once in DF doesn't mean its inclusion in DF is a bad idea.

    It's not really fair to suggest that this should be a casual mmo. We should be working toward suggesting a game that both types of players are comfortable with.

    Also SE Can't make it a 100% casual mmo without pissing off all the hardcores (people that play religiously at set times, everyday etc etc). I personally like coil not being in the DF. And they could not realistically put coil in the DF without causing a TON of issues.

    Issue #1: Timers....
    Imagine progressing through 2 turns with the same group for 90 minutes and running through turn 4 and as soon as your done explaining turn 4, bam out of time. Then you reque and wait in the que for 22 hours because nobody in the DF is saved to turn 4.
    Issue #2: Loot
    The Greed/Need system is not perfected and certain classes can need things they don't use and the gear being as awesome as it is, they need to fix that first.
    Issue #3: Leavers/Afkers/Runs In Progress
    Just think about that for a minute, no thanks.
    Issue #4: Gear Level Requirements
    Without a check for this in place, don't event bother.
