there is no lack of content, the fault is your lack of wanting to stick with it

The OP never said they did all content, they asked what to do now, because in the category of content they "enjoy" doing, there isn't anything new. Someone else pointed out, there will be in 2.1, maybe the OP will enjoy that. And on that note, why do people always say "it's your fault you didn't do everything" to every person who doesn't have all jobs at 50 and geared? Have you ever been bored in your life, even once? If so it's obviously your fault, because there is plenty to do out there. When you were bored, did you go dig a ditch? Why not? Could it be because you wouldn't enjoy it?

The OP didn't even ask for new content, just asked what they should do now since in their eyes they have done all the content they enjoy doing.

My point is, there is plenty to do in this game. The OP only wants to do a certain part of the game which they are done with, so they feel that Square should go ahead and hurry to release more content. Is this not the same thing as buying a child a new toy, they play for it a couple of weeks until the new wears off, and then they throw it to the side and run to mommy and daddy for a new toy.

When I was bored in life, I went to find myself something to do. I didn't sit around and cry begging someone to give me something to do.

While not everyone has to level as slowly as me, to say that the game has little content is simply ridiculous. Few endgame content? Sure. But what exactly were you expecting from a new MMO? Even FFXI that you mentioned took a very long time to have a lot of endgame content and had plenty of the lockouts that you're complaining about here: Dynamis once every 72 hours, HNMs spawning every 21-24 hours (and only 1 group per server got to actually fight them!), Ullikummi on a retarded spawn window bottlenecking Sky.

Leveled up 2 lvl 50s , and some other alts which don't really appeal to me , got relic , done most of coil but cant really raid because I have work .

Crafted a lot too but it seems a bit of a time killer .

What I did like doing is levelling up doing dungeons mostly , exploring new content etc , but now everything is just run same dungeon over and over .

Is it time to quit already ?

No content will ever suffice for players who play 24 x 7 (I'm exaggerating, but not so much) with the only aim to min/max, never stopping a second to look at the landscape, to chat, to help etc.

The only way would be to make consuming the content so unbearably slow (like, having to walk everywhere, dramatic XP and loot nerfing etc.) that everybody would then quit in frustration to turn to "faster" games.

No, but they can't really complain that they are burning through content so fast. I can see you aren't comprehending the other side of the argument so that's ok. You play the game as is, if you can't wait for content maybe this isn't the MMO for you.

No I understand both sides. There's stuff to do in the game level all crafts/Gathers to 50, Do all the main/side quest, Level all jobs to 50 obtain relics (can't get all the allagan/relic gear cause of lockouts and caps), Level Choco. So I get both sides. I'm going to keep playing 2 days (6hrs total) a week until there is something better.

For ARR, the level cap is going to be level 50 to start the game. We don't want players to have to spend a lot of time getting to level 50. The reason behind this is that we believe the game up to level 50 is basically your tutorial. The real game begins from level 50. We have the real challenges begin there. We have a lot of end content that we've already prepared to be ready at the launch of the game.

WoW at launch -> Schol/Strat farm (Maraudons alot of time before it came out and none of it was bugfree) MC took a while even ZG came out after MC which it shouldnt have........... most of it was bugged and people say it was not lool.

Just pointing out the obvious people keep saying WoW had alot more content then this game had .... well it feelt that way cuz of the journey to lvl 60 back then could take along time but some it didnt like myself who speed lvled through everything and played alot.... but i can tell you FF14 has alot more to offer then WoW did ..

I try not to make assumptions about people. And thanks, but I'm not doing this for my ego. My sense of self worth isn't tied to the forums, or a video game. I will apologize though in case I have offended you, as my post wasn't meant to be a personal attack. I just don't understand anytime says they're bored, people tear them up (which to be fair to you, you didn't really do, your post simply blamed the OP for their boredom). Why is it so hard to understand some people don't want to do everything? Do I agree with the ones who whine and say SE needs to "make moar contentz nowz!"? Of course not. Again though, this OP didn't say that. They asked if they should quit since they are bored. My answer would be maybe you should. If it was me I'd see what 2.1 has for and if it wasn't what I wanted, I would move on. Personally, for me, there is plenty of content I enjoy in this game. However, I get that for some people, they only want to do certain things, and now they are bored. That's not SE's fault, but neither is it that player's fault for not enjoying everything in the game.
