WHM losing his white magic mojo

Hello.

During all the chaos that was early access I created my main character on a server that would accept me (Faerie). The server has been great while leveling, I've found a good FC with 3 coil static teams, a couple of other fellow Aussies and a lot of fun and friendly Americans. TS is a hoot and lots of good times have been had.

But I've hit a wall.

I'm a fully DL geared WHM with Myth ring and relic +1. The people in my FC and on the server in general keep US hours which means things are dead quiet during GMT +10 prime time. This means I can't find anyone to even casually attempt to run Coil with and I am completely reliant on DF most of the time for AK/WP runs or even to do Titan (we all know how that ends - 1/40 successful attempts record so far, the successful attempt was when I stayed up late and ran it with one of our Coil teams and not DF).

In short - I've ran out of meaningful things to do other then leveling up other classes or grind out Myth tomes at 300 a week. Its a snooze-fest. I even found myself seriously considering the new WoW expansion the other day. Help me!

So I'm looking around at my options. I know you guys are the unofficial Oceanic server and I have a low level alt character on the server already. Looking at your forum, the timings seem better (lots of posts for GMT+8 for example).

My question - is the grass greener on the other side? What could Tonberry offer me that Faerie currently isn't able to?

Plenty of people on during Australian times (Since they're not too far apart from JP itself either).

You'll definitely get some parties going if you came to us. The server's pretty lively at those times, and heck at times even at 3am.

You answered your own question right? As the most popular oceanic server Tonberry's the ideal place for any Aussie looking for static endgame. There are plenty of Coil running FC's (new and well established) looking for a WHM, far more than the progression thread would have you believe. Plenty of Pugs too.

And it's been like that for a few months now. I don't think I've really seen the population in the game drop, only lower level field zones (which can be dead quiet, somewhat nice really)

I find the only time there aren't many people around is as you'd figure, 2am~6am.

I'm logged in tonight and it seems fairly busy on Tonberry whereas my home server is getting dead quiet.

Move might be on the cards in the next couple of days methinks!
