Well, somewhat unrelated, it kinda hit me today, that I can do more with /chotbar change than just making simple bar changes depending on what I wanted to do. Before this, I had a setup where my set scroll button would scroll between set 1-2-3 in combat but have managed to condense most of my action sets for most of my combat classes into only using 2 sets without sacrificing too much (no multiple action macro with /wait nonsense). Even then I was able to macro in such a way that I'd stay on 1 bar for most of the time (e.g.: halone set/riot set, blm single target set/aoe set, etc)and pedal my triggers when I needed to toggle between set 1 and 2.

I've yet to test this outside fighting dummies but with liberal use of /chotbar change, I've managed to condense my pld, blm, war and mnk sets in a way that my set selection customization option in the menu only has set1 selected. 2 or 3 sets used with default set containing most openers (set scroll button is now only a reset to set1 button), a set that acts like a branching decision maker and an extra set if the class needs it. Sounds kinda confusing but if I did it right, I'd never need to switch sets manually in combat ever again, barring ham handed fumbles. Monk one is still missing some skills I dont use that would make min maxers angry/cry/omg though, but I'd adjust it more as I play with it.

So, uh, pretty neat.
