Menu button responsiveness, specially on crafting windows

I don't know if this is lag related or not, but it happens to me 100% of the time I'm crafting. I click on Recipes, list comes up, I use either Enter or my Confirm button on gamepad as soon as the window is open to select the first item from the list, and then I find myself asking if I'm waiting for the next screen to show up or did the click didn't go through? It does make the selection sound, but i sometimes have to wait 1-2 seconds after the window shows up to be able to select the recipe from the list.

I mean... if you display a window, you would expect it to be fully functional, specially since the items and buttons are not disabled...

This also happens while transferring items between my bag and retainers and while selling items to NPC... and double tapping while crafting is ok, but doing that on the Sell window and choosing the wrong item and selling it by mistake is not acceptable

The recipe history is stored on the server, not in our client, so it has to go get it. (although, you'd think that it could use a cached copy after the first time, or download it when you logged in, along with everything else. Now if only they'd store the macros on the server too.)

Steps:
1. Complete a synth with enough mats to do the synth again
2. Push Down + Enter to go into the recipe list for your next synth
3. As soon as the screen pops up, press enter again. It will look/sound like you just pressed the button to do the top synth of the list.
4. Wait a few seconds, then realize that the command didn't go through
5. Press the button again. Watch as mats get loaded.
6. Synth as normal. Repeat from step 1 to reproduce as desired.

It is because the menus are latency dependent... There is latency delay to selecting any command, weather it be crafting or vendoring something to a merchant. I've accidentally vendored wrong things because I clicked faster than the latency.
