An FC with 7 people should have a much tougher time obtaining the same house as one with 70.

+1 to OP for a grand idea.
Gil for personal and FC points for FC housing sounds great.
I think would be an amazing way to use free company points as at the moment they seem to have very little use. It would also help keep the economy on an even keel. Great idea DC keep them coming

I think this is a great idea, would prevent FC's from using rmt to buy their gil at the last second to fund their purchase of a house. Something this big should be a reward for your hard work and effort, not handed to you for having the real money to buy in game money.
Dislike. Our FC is new and has 122 people but we're more casual so we only have 100k credits saved but plenty of gil.
And our FC has been together since early beta (as a LS and FC the minute we could make one), has over 350 active members, rarely less than 40 working together on things at any given hour of the day.
I fail to see the issue.
Uhm did you not read what I said? We have 120+ members, ~30 active each day. We don't have 500k points saved up but plenty of members and gil.
i quite like the idea! great thinking
Yes, I do not like this idea for the most part.
Smaller FCs (like mine) would have a giant disadvantage if you make housing cost solely via FC points. Utilize the price range you have listed, we wouldn't even make the small house price by the time of the update (sitting at 335k FC Points), and I started my FC 2 days after release. It would force smaller FCs to have to migrate to the larger FCs just to have a taste of the larger houses. Also, anyone just starting their own FCs couldn't possibility accumulate that many FC points in a respectable amount of time on their own. No thanks.
Where I do see potential of utilizing FC points in this instance would be to help mitigate the prices, but please do not let it cost FC points outright. For example, 5-50 FC points = 1 gil. But directly towards housing cost, not a direct gil exchange.

A group of 8 players should not be on an even playing field with a group that has 10 times as many. How would that even begin to be fair for the larger group? That is the trade-off you take when you join a smaller group. It's the same thing with gil, tbh. You can replace the FC points with gil, and the same advantage/disadvantage exists. Honestly, what's with all the entitlement? The only thing this suggestion does is give us something to use all the FC points on that will go otherwise completely unused.Yes, I do not like this idea for the most part.
