We should be getting vanity slots in 2.2... but it seems so far away with people only wearing about 5 sets of gear at 50 right now (AF+1, Coil, Darklight, Crafted, AK)

The upgrade path is also unfair with 2 pieces instead of 4. When getting my lvl90 armor, I need to drop down to lvl60 gear while waiting for enough myth to get the missing part. This drop you down to pretty much what you would be with DL armor and make the upgrade null for a long long time.

Honestly in my opinion the Allagan gear doesn't look good either.

Tank allagan looks badass imo.

I personally like the DL armor. I actually feel protected. Always bugged me that the AF crown is intended to protect your skull.

The only thing I dislike is the running animation. It's too reminiscent of running through a field of flowers...

Maybe the tank darklight armor is there to motivate us to get our AF2. While I understand the concept of heavy armor, I do prefer to have an individual item in each slot.
