i hope ilvl80 gear isn't tin-can esque, too bad i'll be pretty much full ilvl90 armor wise (bar belt) by the time 2.1 rolls out.

Even though I won't have any use stat-wise for the i80 gear when it comes out, you can bet I'll be chain running that place for every piece because if environments have been any indication for how the gear looks (allagan/coils) I'm sure it's going to look UH-MAY-ZING. Crystal Warriors? Yes please.

Also, just looking at it looming in the distance like that... I don't think I've ever wanted to run a dungeon more.

I purposely stayed in my Hoplite gear until I had the tomes for my valor upgrade... DL is just too damn hideous, especially on elezen.

The Tin can armor will be addressed with the vanity slot system when it's implemented. if you don't like the way your equipped armor looks then you can change what your characters armor looks like with a vanity item. But Hvinire is it possible if you can give us the information on the progress of this system?

Problem with vanity slot right now is that it doesn't seem to have a vanity window (atm) and they are trying to simply stuff with restrictions in place. I read on JP side that DQX has a vanity system where gear of same type can be used for vanity, meaning if head/body piece is one set, you need another gear that head/body. What other gear do we have other than cowls, heavy armor >< I hope we get a vanity gear window where you can actually equip your looks.... for every piece.

exactly why i want to run it. because the gear concepts i have been seeing looks cool...and its the goddamned crystal tower.

Sometimes I wonder if they had DIFFERENT TEAMS who designed the armors. If they did, I would make the Dragoon design team the employees of the year. And o, I guess who ever is in charge with TEAM BARD is either gay or a girl. who wants a pink armor for their end game gear? >_<

It's a bard. As in, someone who sings tales about other peoples cool things they did that one time.

Sweet Jesus, YES! Please no more of this horrible armor model. I skipped every version of heavy armor during the leveling process just because I couldn't bear to look at it anymore after getting the heavy iron body. I cringe every time I look at my toon in that awful black and red monstrosity. If you can't/won't fix it, at least never use that model ever again.

I just wish we could pop the visor up on the hat/body combo armors. I don't like not having a face.

I must be in the very very small minority because I like look but do wish it was more variations as the level increased
