Ah yes, because they don't change everything people complain about it means they never change anything.

    - We need more options to get tomestones from!
    - Repairs cost too much! We're going broke!
    - Trash mobs don't drop anything! They're absolutely useless to kill!
    - Miner and Botanist take far too much time to level!

And that's stuff that they've already addressed.

Lets not forget the stuff that they plan on changing in the future, probably the big one is the Warrior adjustment.

But like I said already, people are very fast in the forgetting, especially when they're locked on whining mode.

And people scoffed at me for saying that lightning strikes event armors wont get modified to be wearable by the other genders. They'd have to reshape lightning and snow's clothes for each race (ok maybe not lallas). They dont even want to modify darklight plate and cloth. Gear that lots of people wear in combat situations!

the only problem i have is the head doesnt move independantly of the body and its creepy looking lol.. and i know the style of armour is based on real armour where head and body are fixed.. but its still creepy!! lol

Should remove the Warrior concept art without the head piece from the FFXIV media pages imo, unless there will be future armor that looks like heavy armor set without the head.

I´ve actually been boycotting the whole 2-pieces-in-one armor system. Really hate it, specially the darklight one due to the reasons you cant remove the head visually and that the set is so ugly(also ugly for dragoons)!

I refuse to give my Warrior the bloody tin can gear! Same for my Smn, but for her I can at least create high level gear that isnt 2-in-1!

Don't get me wrong, I never liked the look of the gear either but which would you rather them do, dilly-dallly changing darklights design or focus on getting ahead with the addition/adjustments of new content?

It's the same argument that came up with the White Mage AF body piece not having a /visor option, i'd be an extreme waste of time for such a small outcome.

Another funny note (not intended to be a serious one), would be that that tanking gear is the most /realistic/ in a sense, compared to some of the other gear in FFXIV.

You can ALWAYS suggest for changes and pray that they implement it, I've done the same many many times, but you can't expect that they will take your personal opinion and immediately run to Yoshi-P's office, printer quote in hand screaming "DORIN SAYS THIS NEEDS TO CHANGE YOSHI, QUICK WHAT DO WE DO", that's not how it works, even I accept that.

But your statement is completely false on one account, what was that tiny change community-feedback orientated change they made to this game, I can't quite place my finger on it.

OH YEAH. THEY REBUILT THE GAME FROM SCRATCH

    Always consider that they have a lot of work to do, and their schedule works based off of;

•Hot/Bug Fixes for important changes (I.E Coil Bugs, Gil Exploits, Data Loss, Explotation, Errors/Bugs)
•Suggestions (UI Improvements, Graphical Adjustments, Background Music Looping Dungeons)

They prioritize based on what would take longer, what is most important and what can be done 'next' on the list.

They could just as easily make it like Celata Armor...but not this armor...I don't like the design, in lower level's I have to tolerate it...but to have to wear it end game too! when they have Celata's!

But seriously please allow us to color these sets, all sets every single piece of ARMOR, not accessory, should be allowed to be dyed. Please, pretty please with sugar on top.

Yes please, give us something else. Even if its just a black/red version of the other common set based off of the same model. The 1 example I have in my inventory now is Hetairos Mail. That was a decently designed piece of armor everyone likes and has separated parts.

We understand that you can't change what is already there. It is more like asking to stop making these type of armors, from both a cosmetic standpoint and a game play stand point. It isn't great when you get a lv.90 body and have to put a lv.60 head piece on or don't use your lv.90 body piece at all till you get the lv.90 head to fill it in. Developers need to take this into account in the future. Same for mages with robes.

Personal requests are not really on the top of their list compared to more pressing matters to attend to. The armor has been around for almost two years now. You can't expect every little demand to be met, especially one like this. The only thing you can do is offer feedback to them to consider for future gear and content. It is not that they don't listen or take consideration, it is just there is a lot more to removing or changing an item in the data base than you think it is.

The armor is already starting to get outdated by most players with AF2, Allagan, and the soon Crystal Tower gear, it really doesn't matter anymore at this point. Like I said, just let the developers know you don't like having a 2-in-1 armor piece and hope they take it into consideration in the future. With how much criticism the concept has gotten, I am sure they are aware at least.
