Got myself and another LS member on Titan HM. But now I need gear for my BRD before I attempt. Just to accessories now!

Titan has actually been the only instance that I rarely get lag in. I can only think of one time out of the several dozen I've gone to titan where falling off or getting killed for me was because of lag. BUT I've watched other people red dot constantly or moonwalk their way through that fight so when they got hit by landslide or weights I never got upset. I could visibly see them lag after all.

That's not to say I'm perfect at that fight. Man learning it I fell off a few times, but the bombs were the worst part for me. I was sooo embarrassed while I was learning! I still get hit sometimes if I misjudge the order that bombs land.

Now that stupid keeper in WP.... I can't get out of his spit circles to save my life (litterally!). I'll be on the other side of the arena by the time the ability gets off and still get hit.

If any of you need help with titan send me a tell. Until January I'm pretty much on all the time. After that you'll find me on anywhere from 7pm EST to midnight. Even if I don't need it I just love that fight.

Nice! lol, grats on titan! I hit 48, almost 50! and now i'm helping people with Sunken Temlpe and probably doing some more AK runs. lol. May get some more AV runs in to try and get the tank shield for 50!

I'm obviously not a PLD, but how does the AV shield compare to the one in WP?

More rounded defense/block. WP blocks more, but blocks less often. Scorpion sheld at 42 (which I have) is the opposite, blocks oftenish, but for pittance amounts. The AV shield is an even split.

However, I've been told both/all ways work. I've been told the Scorpion Shield i have now will suit me fine to relic, I've been told to go for 50 then WP for the other shield. And my opinion is that the AV shield would still be best.

All in all - I'll probably just keep doing AV to help people get through it, if i luck out so be it, if I dont.. I'll still hit 50 and start bugging the FC for the rounds to relic . Maybe ppl on here will be free to have some fun with Chimera/Hydra/Ifrit/Garuda/Titan lol.

EDIT: Also, on the Keeper, I've honestly stopped trying to dodge. The tanks don't seem to take enough damage to make the healers too unhappy about their MP, and the time it would take to move (If I'm trying to dodge, I'll sprint when I think it's about that time) only makes the fight that much longer. So far no one's said anything about me 'not trying' or anything like that. We'll see. It may seem lazy, but I think it's for the best. Maybe it's not! I dunno :x

Makes sense. One of my FC plds went for the WP shield, but that was mainly because we run WP so much to cap myth. I honestly wasn't even aware of the AV shield since I haven't run that dungeon very much.

If I'm online and not into something I'd love to help with relic line fights. Just toss me a tell to see if I'm busy. My BRD still needs titan but I can offer my WHM up for any of the fights before him if you need that more.

Today I'm leveling Arcanist to start working it's way towards Eye for an Eye, and possibly helping someone with Halitali at some point tonight.

hooray lol. Likewise, ask i fyou need any dps or tank (or healer if pre-38), I can lend a hand . Hit 50 last night! Finished the PLD quest line and immediately armoired the cool AF armor as I had hopalite/DL to wear. A shame, but oh well.

Now I have to grind out a lot of Philo, and get that relic going. I did clear AK once before giving up tho, against a relic +1 that's no fun with just an ifrit weapon lol. Maybe it's the rotation, but it wasn't bad enough to cause a wipe so.. no complaints.

I'm thinking of just queueing for WP to get the shield, after all I do need the philo and the chances of actually get the Hop. Ring just aren't as great as getting the shield. We'll see. I've never done it as a tank tho :x, wonder how well that will go over.

Anyone else up to anything? Having a good time?

I'm enjoying the game a lot. I've recently hit 50 on my first combat class, DRG. I've been 50 on my crafting and gathering classes for a few weeks now, so I'm slowing moving into the end-game grind.

I've also got my chocobo up to rank 6.5 now. Think I will grind him some more soon. Wanna hit rank 10 and get that job barding for him.

Managed to run a few AKs, help an FC member get the philo they needed for their relic, then shouted a bit and got nowhere so did a few fates on WHM before calling it a night lol. I'll get that chimera this weekend. Relic will be lovely. Then again, i'm still not full DL and am only 5.1k HP so maybe titan is out of reach.

I toke huge gamble on over melding last night and I was not quite lucky on that. I may end up losing 3 to 4mio gil depends on how market will treat me in the following month. Finally got my lv50 2 weeks ago but I was too lazy to run dungeon. I hope I can begin to run WP to cap Myth from this weekend.
