30 FPS Limit increase zone loading by over 50%.

I have been struggling for many months since after the beta and pre-launch event with incredibly slow Zone Loads. In beta and the pre-event it would take me 3-4 sec tops. But now my guildies mock me with my PC being slower than a Ps3.

I know in 1.0 my HD compared to my SSD would be slow, but seeing how fast it was in the beginning of 2.0 for me I though that issue was solved.

So I got fed up, did a thorough format of my gaming drive and a clean install of FFXIV.
And hay I got quick zone loads again! Until I set it to 30fps limit and... takes me 10sec or more to load into a new zone.

So just wondering what causes the increased zone loading times when you have the game set to 30fps?

(I can run the game on 70+ fps but it's throttling my card usage to 99%. I don't mind running it with 30 fps)

Is there a reason you can't run the card at 99%? Regardless, try turning on vsync in your driver options and leaving the in-game fps setting uncapped.
