    Many people reporting Auriana vendor bug buying BoW/BoM Head while buying Thav. Mist

    My friend purchased a Thavnairian Mist from the Auriana vendor and it placed an extra Valor Coronet in her inventory. It also subtracted the Coronet's cost from her Mythology points.

    I did a little digging and this has been going on for quite a while

    The common thread is that players always seem to acquire either the PLD or WHM Head item by accident

    The bug seems to manifest when trying to purchase with an inventory too full, and then places the extra item in your inventory after clearing the slot and remaking the purchase. There may be other ways to reproduce it also because some posts do not mention it.

    It is NOT acceptable to be telling people they can use their one time item replacement to fix this. It is NOT acceptable to be banning people for "Fraudulent claims" in relation to this.

    Fix this SE.

    This isn't acceptable. People have been banned and accused of trying to game the system by reporting this issue and trying to have it resolved by the GM's. What use are the GM's if they cannot solve issues such as these? What is the point in limiting restorations if we must live in fear that some other mistake not of our own making may require the restoration of something far more valuable at some future date? This is not acceptable. Compensate these people. Credit free game time for the ones who have been suspended on belief of foul play. They deserve better customer service than they have received.

    This has nothing to do with the inventory being full. If yours was full then it was coincidence. I had it happen to me and my inventory was not full, not even close to full.

    Weeks later and I never got a single reply to my online or in game tickets. I am being ignored and wasted 2 weeks because my tomes were stolen and given a whm hat I can't even use.

    Confirming this, a friend of mine was buying mist bottles for his BRD relic and got a PLD head piece instead of a second bottle. The support only offered to swap the PLD piece with a BRD equivalent and refused to refund the myth tomes. Absolutely disgusting, considering it was NOT a mistake on player's part (you CAN'T accidentally buy a head piece since Mists are in a separate vendor tab).

    So far the only workaround is NOT having enough myth tomes to buy anything other than a single mist bottle, but SE keeps trying to sweep it under the rug instead of acknowledging the problem exists at all.

    This also happened to my wife almost two weeks ago, no response of any kind yet. On the confirm of her second Mist it gave her a WHM circlet instead of the Mist. No response on any ticket as of yet.

    I am very discouraged by all of the threads I have found about this issue so far. All I see ends with "No response yet" or SE making you eat your one time item restoration. The customer service on this issue is disgusting. How dare they place the blame on the player and blow them off like they are. I see this as a major bug that is not getting any attention. Myth tomes take a fair amount of time and effort to accumulate, so this is not a trivial issue for them to just completely ignore. At least my wife is actually gearing up her WHM, some people get a piece of armor not even related to their current job, but only being able to trade it for another armor piece is not acceptable. If no one "has the authority" to refund tomes or refund any item on the list then this is an administrative problem as much as it is an in-game bug. Please attend to this issue, SE, something like this lurking about should just be flat out embarrassing for you.
