My group has literally NEVER gone to coil and NOT seen the int ring drop. We've been in for 5 weeks now and have seen it every single time.

What are you talking about all I see is damn dragoon gear getting tired of it
My discord is Moose#9971
OMG we see never any dragoon loot and you see dragoon loot all the time on a super giant streak of 5 times for each of us the system is completely fubar this is proof of it please fix SE !!!!
On a related note: we do have some people complaining of the crapton of tank gear dropping (about half for us i would say ?). Can't say i'm complaining
Edit: a lot of complaint that "only drg loot dropping" are probably also due to no one bringing drg to coil. If it drops just as it should, well, you should get almost 1 drg per coil group (5 dps jobs, 4 spots). But most people bring only 1 melee (not almost 2 as should be the average), and more often mnk than drg. Thus, most drg gear goes to waste. Rng being Rng, some people will get more of it, some less -- and those getting more are also more likely to complain about it. Inb4 "ohnooooess only drg gear why SE u hate me so much ?"

From what I've seen so far all dungeons after L30 have messed up loot tables getting progressively worse the higher the level. Though the one that bothers me the most so far is Cutter's Cry. That many chest and that large of a list of gear that can drop there (greens) and yet only ONE of the chests actually drops green gear... very poor design.
This explains why I've never seen my caster tiara ._.
Please also increase Chests per Turn. 3-4 seems more reasonable since it's limited to once per week. At the current rate, even if you could finish to Turn 5 and if every drop was a new drop, it'd take 12 weeks. Just adding RNG increases that to like 40 weeks. ><

Why stop there? Lets just have the chest give everyone a full set of gear! Heck, lets have it give everyone two full sets of gear. Why work for it at all? Can't the moogle just mail it to us when we ding 50?
Fun fact:
There's a certain other "super easy-mode game that just hands everyone gear" (I'll let you guys figure out which one), that awards 2 pieces of gear per 10 people per boss, or 6 per 25 people. That's worse than here by quite a bit. If loot drops from a boss that can't be used, it either hits the floor or gets disenchanted. There's no tossing it into your armory chest for a rainy day should you decide to level something else. That's a lot worse than here. That game also has lockouts, which is just like here. Only they have significantly worse loot distribution.
So no, coil doesn't need to throw even more loot at people than it already does. Not by a long shot.
*I don't mean to say that loot doesn't need to be spread throughout the chests differently for even drop rates per piece. I mean to say that the amount of loot per boss is fine, if not a bit high.
They definitely need to add more chests or something. After a month and a half our healers and tanks have only 1 piece each, while our dragoon and black mage have almost full 90. We actually got Allagan Circlet of Maiming AND Striking on turn 4 last week. If I don't see something other than melee gear soon I might as well unsubscribe. What's the point if I don't ever get anything?
I have this distinct feeling that you haven't actually played "that other game" at any difficult level. Once you've farmed the crap out of everything, yes, a lot gets disenchanted. But in that mythical 6 per 25 scenario, it almost always is completely distributed - main specs taking priority, and then offspecs. Even when you get 3 of the same item (as happened to my group the first time we killed a certain heroic boss). It's all used until you're fully into farm mode. Why stop there? I'm not saying that it needs to throw more loot at people (though I wouldn't mind if it did), but your reason for saying it doesn't is off.So no, coil doesn't need to throw even more loot at people than it already does. Not by a long shot.

Fun Fact: It's 2 items per boss in a 10man raid...out of a lootpool for that boss that consists of a total of 12-14 items, where each single item has the same dropchance. Also per Raid Tier it's anywhere between 10-14 bosses who EACH drop 2 items, the ones that drop Set Tokens actually drop 3...that makes 25-33 items per lockout for a 10man group...compared to 10 items total in a 8man group in FFXIV.Why stop there? Lets just have the chest give everyone a full set of gear! Heck, lets have it give everyone two full sets of gear. Why work for it at all? Can't the moogle just mail it to us when we ding 50?

Fun Fact 2: 6 drops in a 25man raid...still the same total amount of loot on each boss...still the same 10-14 bosses in one Raid tier that all drop 6 items...which makes a total of 60-84 items each raid lockout.
Conclusion: Loot distribution is not even close to how "bad" it is here.
On a sidenote I'm not saying gear should be handed to anyone...but please pull away from comparisons that just show you are uncapable of doing math and/or are stupid.
I'm fine with how much loot we get per Turn...I don't need to be fully geared in a matter of 4 weeks...that destroys the whole point of progression in an MMORPG...but at least loot should be evenly shared among chests, so each piece has the same "base percentage" of dropping. Also each turn should have the same amount of pieces for each class, so each class has the same chance of getting something.
