Loot distrobution is bad on coil turn 1 (possible bug)

That aside our tanks are having a really bad time with loot.

I am a little worried about how long getting everybody Twintania's loot will take knowing only 1 peace of gear will drop and a weapon takes the other slot.

C'mon guys... Read better. The reason you haven't seen legs is because it's in the chest with everything else. Stop being sad (and self-centered XD).

You misunderstood me. This thread saddens me because some people seem to have had all the luck for the legs. Not sad because they are fixing it, that is great.

You may also notice that i talk about our tanks and my whole group's gear from Twintania.

Thanks for bringing up this concern. While the actual drop rates are a bit different compared to what was posted, we have indeed confirmed an issue that resulted in the items not being evenly distributed between the two chests and we will be addressing this in a hot fix next week.

If they do the fix you will see a better chance at the drg legs after the fix when they even out the chests.

Casper, I think you are missing the point. Let's say one chest has 13 items and another has 4, the item you want is in 4-item chest and the item I want is in 13-item one - your chances of getting the desired drop are much higher than mine (1/4 vs. 1/13).

I completely got the point. I do agree the chest distribution of coil is messed up -- indeed the two chests are not balanced and it creates problems, especially with dragoons.

Yet you will find an alarming number of whiners in this very thread complaining about "yeah fix coil but also fix garuda and the jewelry coffer of AK and whatever" -- which is just completely beside the point.

Its nice to get items more frequently, but as it is I think the drop rates on good items are intentionally low. In ffxi drop rates were lower on everything, and harder to beat. I think you guys have your really easy game here, and i dont know why you want it any easier, its only reducing the value of your gear. In FFXI I felt good about getting a full set of hecatomb, it was a lot of work and took months, but it felt good. I actually stood out. In this game I got from 1-50 in 3 days, and completely geared myself in darklight in a week. Allagan takes a little longer, but overall, a hell of a lot easier than other games im used to.

im ranting now, but all these people asking for easier content are annoying the hell out of me. Wow-like easy mode games and its players are overwhelming developers of interesting content via their investor. They go for profits now by catering to a wider audience by dumbing down content.

In 2 and a half months of coil our drops are about 80% drg while everyone else is getting slim pickings.
