My friend is trying to down Titan in the DF... poor dear. Seriously, even in good parties, most quit after one fail. I'd be in support of harsher punishments, but trolls exist... as I've had the misfortune of encountering. When someone is making you lose deliberately, there's not much you can do but quit out. So, yeah, I'm not sure what a fix to this situation would be; maybe people just need to stop be wussies.

Oh my goodness. No one should do Titan HM through DF, unless you are doing it only for the practice. DF forces you to have an extra tank you don't need, leaving you either a DPS or healer short. Plus, in my experience the most successful Titan pugs are groups who not only stick with it but evolve. That is, slowly weed out players who for technical or gearing or other reasons clearly can't yet do it. And of course it is impossible to 'evolve' a group of random from various servers

I would like a Quit penalty increase.
15 min increase everytime you do it resetting at end of week.
    Doesn't effect trails.

But really need to see how gear check works out.
Did a Garuda with a Warrior in AF and it failed so fast it wasn't even funny.

    Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.

Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!

Seriously, I've lost count of the number of people who quit a run at the drop of a hat. Even had one in a titan run who quit immediately claiming that most of the party wasn't geared for the fight. Most of the party was equipped with full Darklight gear. (I even had my relic body.)

Given how often this happens, I think SE should lock quitters out of the duty finder for upwards of 24 hours, depending how frequently they quit out of a duty, and how soon they quit out. This would pressure people to actually commit to a party once they registered for a dungeon run. Why should the people willing to work through a duty be punished because one person thinks they're too awesome to have anything less than perfection?
    Uh... okay?

Maybe if so many people weren't bad at this game, people wouldn't ask for such outrageous item levels. I've been using a parser for a while and the highest IL item I have is a the 1 star hq weapon I crafted for my monk. Everything else is 50-55. Here I am usually parsing at around 200 dps and a majority of the time, other people in WAY better gear than myself are barely breaking 150, let alone 200. I'll look at total damage done to a boss and when I subtract the LB I'll still regularly do a minimum of 10k more damage to a boss than the 2nd place guy. I can only imagine how much the difference will be when I actually get geared. So basically, on this one you have to blame the players as to why people quit when they see low gear scores.

This is just another post filled with venom and a suggestion that's completely unreasonable. It's not even worth pointing out why this idea wouldn't work, I'm sure anyone who tries can think of half a dozen reasons. Essentially you don't like other people having the freedom to leave and that they can do so, and have done so makes you mad. Yep, sorry, I like having freedom to leave if the team isn't being fun for me. I would seriously NEVER use DF again if I was forced to stay with the people regardless of the situation. Ridiculous.

I think 24 hours may be a bit much for a one time offense, but is fine for repeat offenders. Sometimes things just happen.

However (as we've seen multiple times here), a lot of people like to grief the DF. I've had people go into AK, look at everyone's gear, and leave. I also remember way back someone mentioned a tank who AFKed at the start of the duty, came back, asked how long DPS had been waiting, laughed at them, and left. For those kinds of people, I think 24 hours is justified.

I think the only way to do it is give people more chances (as some people leave for legitimate reasons) but still impose a harsher time penalty.

e.g. You get the 15 minute penalty three times. Then if you accumulate that penalty the three times, it goes up to an hour. That way if you are leaving for real reasons that often, you won't be too bothered about being locked out for an hour and it still should deter the trolls a little. They can then keep increasing it from there onwards.

I have left before if I felt I was the reason the team was being held back (when I was learning a dungeon) and I knew they could quickly replace me, but I told the party in advance. The only other time I would leave would be in the case of abusive speech. One round of smack is expected by immature people, but there is no reason to put up with it.

I am not going to skip out because of wipes. How can anyone learn without practice and how can anyone be expected to be perfect be without being given the chance to learn?

We had one wipe in HM Garuda last night due to a new tank learning placement. A DPS leaves. You can not refill those spots and otherwise it was a great party. That needs to be changed.

When DPS piss me off, I get to the final boss in either AK or WP and just go AFK for like 20 minutes, come back let DF find me new dps and heals. Lol and hope that the DPS learned there lesson.
