Tracking retainers

Would be nice if you could track your retainers. I mean stuff like:

- checking retainer's inventory (to see what you have there, I for one tend to forget what my retainers have)

- checking retainer's bazaar (to see if your items have been sold)

- retainer's would inform you by NPC linkpearl (or something like it) if you have sold anything

This would be a nice addition if FFXIV sticks with retainers. There is even a "Retainer List" in the main menu which serves no real purpose.

Yea... Sort of like how you were able to check your mog house and storage/the other storage from your menu in ffxi^^ made it so much easier to know where to go looking for what I was looking for.

I agree, would be a nice feature at some point for them to introduce- a remote access to your retainer inventory screen to see which retainer is holding which items, and also possibly to see what is still in their bazaar and how much gil they are holding. I think this is a long time off yet though if they do think about it.

would love to see this, but very soon you will be attacked as that it is low priority or worthless until the battle updates are complete.

we need to realize that everything like this little update leads to a more enjoyable game experience not just the major updates. they could add 100 of these minor fixes to make the game much more enjoyable in less time than is being spent on the big ones. get the little things fixed for people to enjoy the game more and they are more willing to wait for the big ones.

more enjoyment = more people will play.
more waiting = less people willing to wait.

With all due respect (and I agree with you that it is very low priority compared to everything else), this is at the same time a general discussion forum and it doesn't say anywhere that people cannot discuss what they would like to see in the game one day- not right now but one day

no you are reading me the wrong way. i was not taking that stance. i was warning him that he will be attacked by people using that stance. i completely agree that little things like this are needed as soon as possible because every little thing that makes the game more fun will slow the exodus of people from the game.

I would like them to eventually let you call your retainer at Camps, so that if I need to grab some gear to switch class I can without having to tele back to town and then back to the field.

"Most" are reasonable enough to save that stuff for the "I WANT THIS, DO IT NOW!" kinda requests. Also helps if the little thing is something they agree with.

I know this is pretty low priority. Especially now when there is adjustments and content coming and bugs to be fixed. Let them attack if they want, I will ignore them anyways.

always thought it would be nifty if there was some sort of notification when something was bought from your retainer or repaired.
