Look I understand you like the game great so do I but I am not going to pretend everything is alright when it is clearly not, things need to change and lucky for us SE knows that so they will make the changes they need to.
Again, I would love you to quote where I said that I believe that everything is alright. This game has so many things that are not "alright" that's not even funny.
I would infer that believing that SOME things are alright, and that things aren't as terrible as some say, doesn't nearly equate to believing that EVERYTHING is alright.

What I believe is that those "SOME" things that I judge alright, have the potential to be a solid game for the game in the future, and to keep it unique. The past history of MMORPGs post-wow shows that uniqueness is a necessary characteristic to reach any degree of success.

Also, you misinterpreted what I mean with "juicing players". It means that a developer/publisher that knows that a game is near closure, will try to implement revenue sources to juice the last players as much as possible.
IE: "make em pay, many will leave, but some will pay, it'll still be more money that making no one pay".

Turning a pay to play game into a "free until further notice" game, shouldering the whole operational costs for a prolonged period, and especially making the shareholders swallow that pill, means that SE is definitely confident in their ability to turn the game around and transform it into a profitable business.

It's an unprecedented move in the market, and it holds quite a lot of meaning.
