Did anyone just lose items in their inventory out of thin air?

So I was running around, and noticed that I had 3 empty slots on Page 1 of my inventory. How strange, I thought. I put stuff there that I don't use up so they fill that slot. I didn't make much of it, I moved 3 items over to cover those 3 slots, including a full stack of Cobalt Rivets (99) and a stack of Grade 4 Carbonized Matters (about 94?) and something else over to Page 1 to cover the empty spots. I move on.

A few moments later, I made some HQ items for a friend, traded it to him, and then I suddenly notice the first 6 slots of my Page 1 inventory are now empty. There is NO WAY these were single split items that got consumed, as at least 2 slots I knew for sure were stack items that I did not use up within the hour.

What the heck just happened to the items that disappeared in my inventory? I am 100% certain I did not discard/sell/throw them onto the retainer. I have checked my storage areas. It seems like I just lost these items to the thin air.

Yeah, I think I went near a summon bell before I noticed the first 3 slots lost. I'm not sure if I zoomed out at all though.

Lol... who knows. Maybe there's another ridiculous exploit where hackers can now just straight up steal items out of your inventory. Are you positive you didn't just misplace it or something?

100% positive. I know for sure I moved at least those 2 stacks over to cover the empty slots, and there is no way I did any melding/crafting involving Cobalt Rivets until I noticed the 6 slots were gone. I checked my retainers and everything. Armoire/Armoury Chest even. These items just disappeared, of that I am dead certain.

The only thing I can recommend is for you to submit a bug report. You may as well count those items lost into the nether at this point though as SE isn't exactly known for resolving such issues in a timely... or ever manner.

Yeah I don't really have any hopes on ever getting stuff back, but at this point I'm kinda paranoid. Are hackers just straight up taking my stuff or what? Is this a game issue? You'd think with all these maintenances, this kind of stuff wouldn't happen...

Well, it can't be ruled out that it's some new exploit as just a few days ago if players went near a market board hackers somehow managed to force them to spend large amounts of gil on throwaway items. I honestly wouldn't be surprised one bit if they've figured out how to do something like this.

You should report it to SE ASAP, if this is a new sort of attack on legitimate players, the faster they know it's happening, the faster they can try to do something about it.
