Twintania Linkshell!

I'm recruiting for the linkshell Monday Night Twintania. Note that this isn't some surrogate for a static group...My hope is to build a community of players united by a desire to challenge and master Turn 5. Static groups that meet on Saturday or Sunday will often struggle to meet Monday as weekend warriors go back to busy lives...ergo something a bit more ad hoc is better suited for Monday night, especially in the 6 or so hours before the reset. But by all means, feel free to utilize this linkshell as the need arises, whatever day of the week it is. This is a cooperative effort...Requiring trust and good faith that the rest of the LS is doing their best to learn and practice the battle just as you are. But the prize for this effort is the ability of any of us to login and kill Titania as we please, rather then schedule our lives around the game.

My ultimate hope for the LS is to "graduate" 100 people by the time 2.1 comes out, the number Yoshi-P expected to complete it worldwide.

Requirements:

Gear: There are no strict requirements beyond an understanding that you will apply your myth tomes first to your main class. As long as you don't split your efforts among classes, you'll be geared in no time.

Research:I expect that you'll have been over the relevant videos/documents with a fine tooth comb. At the least, you should watch, and rewatch, and rewatch, and...

There are many other Twintania videos out there with lots of lessons to be learned vicariously from them.
For example, can you tell how the white mage died to fireball in the world second win despite having 4.2k max health?

Class Skill:It is important that you know your class well. Of immediate interest with Twintania is that, as a tank or DPS, you are able to maximize your classes damage dealing potential against conflagration. I'm not saying you have to spend some quality time with the training dummy and a parser, but it couldn't hurt...As a healer, it's imperative to be on the ball and have complete command of all resources your class has available to it. For example, prior to this week, I never had much occasion to use Surecast...but Fireball interrupts casting, so it's now more desirable to have that option.

That's all I really ask of people looking to join. Gear up a main, learn the fight like the back of your hand, and aspire to polish your rotations and class usage to be the best ____ possible. If we do this, we can make this community work!

I'm a bard with the appropriate pre-requisites for Turn 5 (4.1k HP and 473 Acc before buff/food). I'm at turn 5 with my static and would like to practice the run as much as possible. Please invite me to your LS.

Still have space, though I'm not sure for how long. All classes are welcome, though main tanks are especially in great demand. Also, I would strongly recommend anyone interested in the end game look into FFXIVapp and/or LogRep2.0.
