PS3 Resets only when i play FFXIV.

This is getting pretty bad lately and IDK why it only does this when I play FFXIV. I'm pretty sure its not my system cause its only 5 months old and it doesn't reset when I play other games.

Anyone else having this happen? If so is there a fix?

Thing I don't understand is it only happens on FFXIV I play a lot of other games and nothing. So could it be something corrupted in FFXIV files only? And idk if backing up save data will keep me from having to download all my games again ; ;

FFXIV ARR pushes the PS3 hard, i haven't had any problems with it crashing or resetting though. I do however make sure that it is raised off the surface using drink bottle tops to let more air circulate. I also make sure it has lots of room around it for the same reason. If you don't do those things, it could be something for you to try. As overheating is one of the main causes of consoles crashing. freezing or resetting.

LOL I have a cookie cutter set to raise mine off the Desk. And its cold in my room.

I've experienced this problem couple times when trying to teleport. Sometimes my ps3 just hung for no reason (mostly in Coerthas) and I had to force power down the system.

About 60% of the time my wife tries to tele/return in Coerthas her PS3 freezes up.

i think this has happened to me around 10 times since EA. no biggie really, just bothersome. i play way too much and poor ps3 got a fever. i raised her up a little just be safe, but it still happened. wrote a ticket. no response. not worried. if this happened everyday, id have something else to say. oddly enough, the load screen always went back to my PSN dashboard when i was changing zones between the MB area and main crystal in Gridania.

the one issue that worries me is the never ending loading screen that has made me force reset my system. luckily this has maybe happened 2-3 times.

I just don't want it to happen during CoB. I think its happened to me about 12 or 13 times in the last month or so.
