I don't know, monk feels very rogue/thief like to me.
But I do like some thf AF![]()
rogues do it from behind...

I just want them to remake ffxi. I am settling for FFXIV in hopes that day will come.
But thief would be cool. It would help with a lot of threat issues if they brought the SATA mechanic in.
Sneak Attack -> Trick Attack -> (Dancing Edge/Shark Bite), do tons of dmg and make the mob think someone else did it.

Thief: DD, with one tank job, one dd job (and dd being partially support)
Don't see why they wouldn't add thief though, Moggle Mog has a thief moogle with him.

IMO though, theres no point to having tons of Jobs in this game if they don't increase the party size back to 6 for a light party an 12 for a full party.
If they stick with 4 and 8 and they add 10 jobs over the next year... The FOTM spam will be autrocious. Your a level 50 blm now and people want you for turn 4 bcb, then Blue Mage comes out and does Magical and Physical dmg and better aoe and BLM get's the bullet. Crap like that will happen constantly and you'll be leveling up your FOTM class because you won't get a group otherwise.
I wanna gunblade specialist.. the imperials have gunblades so it can happen, i wanna get my Squall on ;_;

I believe the term "Scout" has already been referenced by Yoshi in regards to a new agility class.
So likely:
Scout (Class) >> Thief (Job1), Ninja (Job2)
I love thief, made being a tank in XI less stressful and promoted team unity I always thought.
But seriously, all I want is my DRK back.
