Thief should be a JOB not a CLASS. There's a very real difference.

Jobs are the classic Final Fantasy professions that should come with a Soul Crystal. I and I'm sure a lot of people would be really disappointed if Thief was something most consider worthless come Lv.30.

But yes, bring the Thief back and hopefully make it separate from the Ninja. I wanna be a Thief, not a Ninja.

In a prior post in the thread I commented on this, I'm not sure how to make it appropriate really. As long as its viable DPS for end game content, I'm happy.

See my Performer idea in my signature. It's really not that hard.

I believe the term "Scout" has already been referenced by Yoshi in regards to a new agility class.

So likely:

Scout (Class) >> Thief (Job1), Ninja (Job2)

Agreed. It needs to be a Job. I would like to hope they would never put an iconic job as a class. So far they haven't!

I don't know about you but jobs have about five skills and that's it for the job. I honestly rather have more than five still as a thief so I don't mind it becoming a class but it just seems wrong to call it a class and I rather it be a job out of principal. This worries me far too much, thinking about how they might butcher Thief and make it worthless. I already dislike how they did Bard.
