Take some of your own advice and "read". The first "class" being introduced will be Musketeer. It was supposed to be here in 1.0, but never made it and ACN took it's slot for re-launch of ARR. Yoshi-P already said he'd like to introduce this when he raises level cap which he hopes to do so in a Major Patch, not an expansion.

Sorry, on topic! Yes I hope THF is implemented soon, maybe Musketeer's Job? or a whole new class (I came up with a class for THF back in Beta forums, but I'd have to dig it out...). Either way I miss THF very much.

they will not make it before we get acces to more technologie.

Not sure if you saw my post a page back, but do you have a link to an official interview or statement from Yoshi about that? I'd love to read it. Although I think the statement about taking its slot is incorrect as the players' poll before 2.0 released had the Summoner/Beastmaster (pet class) win as the next job to be put in the game. I don't recall ever seeing Yoshi (not Tanaka) mention bringing musketeer actually in. In any case, if you have a link please share!

Haha. Yeah I've been here since alpha 1.0. The musketeer's guild always caused so many rumors back then, but ever since Tanaka went to XI and Yoshi took over XIV I haven't seen anything official about the job actually making an appearance. Tons of rumors/hearsay just like plenty of other jobs/classes. I was just looking to see if anyone had 'hard evidence' from the Yoshi monster himself.

Why do people keep posting these threads? Do you never listen to live letters or read stuff the Dev's put out? First new job will "probably be something like dark knight" per freaking Yoshi P. Even that new job will be in the next expansion. It will be years before you see stuff like thf or rdm in the game. So many other jobs are lined up first. Yoshi said if he had his way the next job he would put in would be red mage, but its not feasible right now. This is all stuff you can read and find out about if you just do some digging.

Interview where Yoshida says they know a Scout Class (read Thief) is missing. (Also mentions Ninjas/Samurais as wanted, nothing about putting in game)

A translated interview found on these forums from when 1.x was still running. It specifically mentions "just a few of the random ideas (or delusions) that Yoshida was kicking around in his head, none of which are finalized concepts." However, confirmed Arcanist for 2.0 release. (Mentions they were thinking about branching Dark Knight off of Gladiator and bringing Musketeer into game with dual pistols, neither confirmed or set in stone.)

There are plenty of other interviews mentioning there will be new jobs/classes, no specifics or timelines. However, what I CAN'T find is an OFFICIAL interview or comment by Yoshi that is not 'just an idea' saying that they will in fact be bringing Musketeer into the game.

They've data mined and found graphics that like the guild crest that existed in 1.x in 2.0, blah blah blah.

Obviously nobody can say what will and won't be in the game, but I like to go by interviews and official statements. If you have one, please link it so I can check it out as I try to stay up to date on this.

The ONLY other thing I've seen that's not quite official, but mentioned by Yoshi in interviews is that he personally would like to see Red Mage brought to ARR.

I completely agree with everything you said, but I wanted to add more info to this part. If you go to the Marauders guild in Limsa it shares a large room with another empty guild that has a gun for the symbol. This is right now in 2.0. So this isn't some "oh back in 1.0" piece of information as you can actually go see it right now.

Oh I know, I've seen the door that could easily become the guild. I just am looking for an official interview. I've got nothing against people trying to add up what they see, but I like to stick with official announcements for jobs/classes. If I went solely on that stuff alone, the fact that Yoshi told a JP player he'd love to have a gunblade class and the fact they're (the gunblades) already in the game would make a nervous wreck waiting for an agility tank

There is absolutely nothing wrong with requesting a very specific job to be included some day. No one here suggested it should be the next job or that it in anyway contradicts the statements made by Yoshi-P. Take your attitude elsewhere as it is misplaced here.
