Curious on your views of current game content and upcoming 2.1

Positive POV - Why I would continue subscription

1. Love how they worked their a**es off to make us a new game in such a short time.

2. How they are constantly working on making fixes to some of the major flaws of the game (no matter how slow, it's getting done)

3. The crafting system - Incredibly fun

Negative POV - Why I would discontinue subscription

1. Running same dungeon for 6 weeks as the only source to get best in slot for my class.

2. The fact that the upcoming content (as late as it is already) is going to be a step backwards from what I've achieved so far - (This is my biggest deal breaker) Sure FC housing is nice, that'll last all of 2 days before It gets dull

3. The unexplained phenomenon as to why guild spammers, sellers and bots have not been banned from the server over a 2 month period. This just seems completely unacceptable. Investigations should be an easy process, there are logs of everything.

4. Although crafting is fun, everyone and their mother has crafting classes to 50, making everything i create to sell for profit utterly useless. The only thing i profited from with a high turnover was food, and that lasted all of 2 weeks. Per Ex: If you walk into Hawkers alley at this moment in time all you will see are Chef hats EVERYWHERE.

5. What the f* is skill speed and spell speed for?



Some of you stopped reading by my 3rd negative point and are ready to tell me to leave if I don't like it. That choice is mine. I just want to know how YOU feel about the game. If you love it and you find my points to be futile, please enlighten me because I want to love the game more than I dislike it. I want to know why you find it amazing.

Negative POV # 2 is a real deal breaker for me as well. Not going to re-sub till more coil turns come out.

I enjoy doing the coils a lot, I think the fights of coil are very well designed and fun to beat!

Pro for 2.1 -
New things for people.

Con for 2.1 -
No personal housing. Only FC. Snooze. The reason I really wanted 2.1 was personal housing.
Now I don't get it to an suppose 6 months from then. Wanted a big ol' mansion and
decorate it like a boss...and have me pets roam and stuff. :/
Dunno why it came out before FC one.

The only thing I dislike about the game is FATEs concept is good, but the whole Zerg thing is stupid.

As far as the whole going backwards thing in 2.1, that's only true with your main job, everything else is on par with Crystal Tower, Primal extreme mode new dungeons ect.

The game as a whole I give it a 8.5/10. I really do enjoy the game.

I want the packet loss and lag gone. That's my biggest gripe about the game atm.
Crafting is nearly useless, you will have to raid coil for most if not all of your BiS, rest is gotten with myth tomes. They should have left the alternative of having your stuff crafted, I don't mind having to farm coil/CT for mats or having to pay more, but I want an alternative and a purpose for crafting. Not that we are going to see any, with the whole "no stress" direction the game is following. I'm surprised coil is actually challenging (for those who haven't done it enough times already)

The current game amounts to capping myths and making as much coil progress as possible. With the lockouts, I can imagine people logging on first 2 days of the week, capping, clearing coil and logging off until next week.

Grind might not be a solution, but the insane leveling speed makes the problem of "too little content" much more obvious.

That said, I like how beautiful the game is. I am enjoying playing my main classes and currently getting fond of tanking as well.

1.) Weekly Myth Cap
2.) Weekly CoB lockout
3.) Crystal Tower will be a down grade
4.) Dungeon EXP sucks/Fates suck and are to easy 70% of people don't know how to play their jobs correctly
5.) No personal housing for 6 months
6.) No new Content to the game for 6months+ (Beside CoB turn 6+)
7.) Crafting is way to easy
8.) No gear Variety
9.) Not enough classes/jobs
I'm sure there are about another 50+ but that's to many to post.

PoV possitive now:
Mulitclassing, no need to make adds. I only need 1 character to do all be all.
Community, alot of people do really overlook this one. I find this community to be amongst the better ones in the MMO world.
Grinding, all who knows me know I am a massive fan of grinding.
Crafting, never seen a more fun crafting system.

PoV negative now:
Lag, it is distrubing sometimes. It gets better and better though! Good job SE!
Lack of quests between 35-50, more quests here please? FATEs are boring, need fix pronto.
Armor customisation, DL robe is ugly. I am seriously saving myth to replace hat and chest first. It is TOO ugly.
No 24 man, :'(

PoV possitive 2.1
Housing, will be schweet. Going to turn our FCs house into a nice little place where we all can hang around planning shenanigans.
CT, a 24 man raid! Love it.
Good King Moogle Mog!!!!! Do I need to say more?
PvP, will try it out some. I want that PvP armor as a trophy of all of my epiq pwn4g3.

PoV negative 2.1
No private housing, I want a gothic mansion, not sure all in my FC agrees on that, sigh compromising is hard...
CT is only ilvl 85. With some 90 gear it might get alittle too easy.

It really depends on what I see out of the live letter and when 2.1 is actually supposed to come out whether I stick around tbh. I really do like the game so hoping 2.1 really delivers and has some time sinks that are both fun and varied in activity(leveling combat classes, leveling crafting classes, leveling gathering classes are 3 separate things total.)


But what am I saying. 2.1 is supposedly the second coming of Jesus from what I read on these forums. So I'm sure everything will be spectacular and without fault.
