FFXIV: poor gameplay due to lag

Yeah, this thing about EU servers not being in EU is just... (they're on a budget!)

I've played numerous of other MMO's where this wasn't the case (the lag). Let me make it clear again, it's not that my char is robotting around. There is just a little too much lag imo.

I'm aware of the ISP part, but this is not the case. Heck, even FFXI on a Japanese server played better....

Your .gif says it all xD.. On a more serious note, it spoils the fun when this happens during a more serious fight, that's my point.

Agreed. I have never blamed SE outside of knowing that they can compensate for it (ie. game time checks + spread servers out). They may not have caused the issue, but they can make sure it doesn't affect players.

I think they forgot just how big the US is, too. I am from Cali, and my ISP has to do a ton of hops just to get to the Canada server because they put them all on the East coast..
