[To the Devs] We need content like in FFXI called Abyssea

yes because abyssea was soooo great, get a clue man Abyssea sucked XI lost 200k subs when it hit. Please just stop this crap. If the Devs take anything they need Salvage, Sky, Sea, Nyzul and Dynamis type events and thats it.

As you can see, the subs were in sharp decline before the first Abyssea even hit. Where are you getting your numbers about post-Abyssea, pre-VNM (when the game started sucking again)? Because for every thread from HNM fanboys mad that they couldn't exploit people through pyramid-scheme shells anymore, there were people who had previously quit returning because they heard that:

1. There was no longer job discrimination, nor a need for manaburns or colibri burns, and

2. Small one-to-two party LSes could complete 99% of Abyssea content.

So tell me again how Abyssea "ruined" FFXI?
