My level 50 Miner, 50 Armorer, and 15 crafts and Botany would like to have a word with you.

How do you have multiple 50s and yet don't know that you can only have a max of two retainers?

Honestly? Because I have never been needing more than one retainer for the stuff I have. It's only recently when my wife decided she wanted to have two separate retainers for separate uses that I found out that you can have more than one. So I "presumed" that you can get one in each town.

Retainers don't mean much to me because, frankly put, I purge what I don't need because I can either farm and craft it or just buy it again. May not be the best way to save money but really, it keeps me from having issues with storage.

If you don't need it, get rid of it. Purging policies come into play with me. I've always been someone who's kept things in order and very limited.

I'm disappointed. All of my war/magic classes are at 30+.

Oh well. Vanity is vanity. But I hope they let us store these items down the line. :[

It might be that all the items are level 13 because they're from a FF13 promotion.

This. There's really no other reason that the items would be Level 13. It is not a coincidence, and I think it's really cool in a silly kind of way.

First quest unlocks a hairstyle (Lightning if Female, Snow if Male) for when the Barber Shop comes out.

We actually don't even know if it will be useful then. They mentioned they weren't going to allow seasonal items to be used as vanity (ie there won't be anyone raiding coils in bikinis), so these event items may not be allowed, depending on what they do with the system.

Edit: I realize now you were talking about the hair style, but yea, still remains to be seen if the vanity system will allow event items or not.

they aren't seasonal items...and why would they release themed gear from past games if they weren't going to allow us to use it with the vanity system they are withholding from us?
