seriously, this game is trying to limit you in every possible way, so there is no room for character development AT ALL.
at least in 1.0 we were able to use different pieces of equip to build our characters.
but with how the materia system now works and equip of the same iLvL practically having the same main stats it's pretty clear that this game is linear and that will NEVER change if the system doesn't change.
my Wyrm Body has the same amount of STR & VIT as my friends Valor Body.

Which also has same exact STR & VIT as my MNK Melee body. Which has same exact STR & VIT as every melee Allagan body.

Actually it is months. The name of the game changed, the engine changed, the old server closed. That's a new game, not an update/upgrade.

Actually it is months. The name of the game changed, the engine changed, the old server closed. That's a new game, not an update/upgrade.

the old servers didn't close.they went down only for the time during december and somehwere around cbt2 or 3, dunno which brought them back again.
the engine changed, but a new engine doesn't make a new game.it was simply a technical upgrade, to help alleviate some stress that the older engine caused due to it taxing high end computers and the PS3 being unable to handle it correctly.
