    Questions:

    Why are there up to grade 10 fishing spots and only grade 5 for mining and botanist? Do you realize that fishing can be much faster to rank up than mining/botanist?
    Some fieldcraft leves make you run a ridiculous amount of distance from camp! Is that really necessary? The challenge in the leve should be in successfully gathering the items, not having to make us run thousands of yalms
    A lot of gathering nodes are located near NMs! Any plans to fix this?

    rather than go through all the questions posted ill just post my questions. Any duplicates I am sorry for the people going through these.

    Any plan to remove Gathering Fatigue? If not is there anything to be done about the loss of sp during this process
    Any plans for Group Activites? either gatherer with gatherers or any other mix of classes
    Will we see nodes for mining and botany go past 5 in the future? as getting sp past rank 43 is really really slow compared to other classes who all have things they can grind on up to at least rank 50
    with the new job based system will gathering classes be seeing any changes with it?
    space is a serious issue with gathering classes especially with 4 times every single type of item, any chance to alleviate this issue? either with extra bag space for gathering classes or removing +1/2 mats

    You can currently get multiple types of wood from a single tree. This makes no sense at all - would it be possible to simply add multiple types of trees to an area and have each tree contain different types of wood?
    Following on from the above - why can I get wood from a cactus!? Eorzea is pretty weird.

    My questions as well:

    I think Fishing should be more active (more action oriented) because it should give to the player a sense of 'fight' with the fish (FF11 has something about it). Any plans about it?
    What about to add various types of special bags/sacks/baskets for every Gathering type?

    My question:

    Are there any plan to make cooperation between DoL and DoW/DoM possible or even needed for some gathering? For example: adding new materials in dungeons or adding guildleves where DoW/DoM would have to protect the DoL during the gathering.

    I hope these aren't already put up somewhere so forgive me if they're wrong but here are a few I've got that have been nagging me, specifically the first.

    Why are our DOLs gathering abilities luck based and/or based on the Random Number Generator?
    Instead of making our gathering abilities abysmally chained to luck (enough of our game/DOL classes already are) why not make the gathering abilities like DOM/DOW, with a cool-down? This way we could get more consistent results and use our abilities as we see fit.
    The above particularly is an issue when you're trying to go for HQ items and want an ability to aid in your search, or simply for leveling, if we could use Sweat of Brow consistently rather than it triggering on that last swing (or in really bad luck cases: when you finish gathering at a tree or finish your leve and it triggers) it would help with a more consistent SP gains. In terms of using the abilities that grant higher HQ item chances, the results are obvious, if you go mining away at a Jade node hoping for +3, your ability can never trigger, but if you are at an iron node it'll trigger whether or not you want it to.

    I for one think we deserve more control. After all we have the same SP requirements per rank as DOM/DOL, we have two types of fatigue as gatherers and for all but fishing we have nothing to grind on in the very very long final stretch to cap. It would also place a bit more control in the hands of the players and lessen that "bad luck" streak that is just so common in this game.

    I'm a Fighter not a lover; Can't I keep a gathering tool equipped along with my weapon of choice?
    Would be nice not to have to overhaul all the gear, tools, traits and abilities when I happen to pass by a mine while exploring.

    Forgot a few things that came to mind.

    Why can't we mark our maps for gathering locations? Even if we can't in general do this (we really should be able to have a comprehensive set of tools to customize our map, draw on it even, set markers without a limit, etc) can the scanning abilities at least temporarily place markers on our maps?
    As an addition to the above, it would seem as an accomplished Botanist or Miner (especially Botanist) we should be able to tell if a tree is Ash, Walnut, Willow, Cedar, Elm, Mahogany, Pine very easily. All the graphics for the trees run together, is there any plans to change this?
    If we can't get an update to tree graphics to represent the specific type of tree, could we at least get markets on our map and minimap that denote what the trees without a 400yalm radius of us are?
    And going off the above again.

    If we have a minimap for animals, and NPCs and other locations, why can't DOLs have minimaps and scannable areas on the map (like FFXI RNG Widescan perhaps) that we can scan or search and be able to tell which node is up and what that node is?
    An example would be to open the map as Miner, scan and then see that there are 7 nodes within a 400yalm radius, 4 of them are currently gatherable (not exhausted) and by mousing over or moving the gamepad/arrowkeys to the various markers we could see that one node is an iron vein, the other two are silver/jade veins and the last one is a precious stone vein. DOLs are already abused as it is with double fatigue and having to run through gauntlets of aggro higher up and leves that take us all over the world and are little more than anima burning. We could really use some things to keep our sanity on the grind to cap.
